So my little brother finally cleared up his mind. He doesnt want to play on his laptop anymore which he bought 1 year ago. He now wants a real gaming PC that can play all the latest games. This means I've got to help him pick the parts and build the system
He will buy my 6 months old Define XL for cheap and he gets my Scythe Mugen Rev 2 for free. Im a nice brother am I not?
His budget is about 1000 euros and I've selected the following components:
Clickable specs
Im still thinking about changing the GPU to a Saphire one but he liked this one. The Saphire is also more expencive and the reviews on the Club3D card seem to be pretty good.
Also the HDD/SSD problem, I dont want to sacrifice performance just to have an SSD. Ive been thinking about getting him a 500GB WD green and a 64GB SSD but that adds 30-40 euros. You wont miss an SSD if you never had one. And the only difference I notice is the boot time. So maybe stick with the 1TB Black and take a piss while its booting
So what do you guys think? Any changes you guys would make? Recommendations are very welcome.
