Nice one, thanks for the sketch

Are you going to be using Plexi for the main bit that will house all of the components?

Mostly wood and a reinforced glassplate on top. Plexi will be used in the front for the 4x xigmatek fans, and maybe a bit more. Not decided yet

Maybe around 100£. The wood is alot more xpensive. Think il end up with 200£ in wood materials. Could have gotten cheaper woodplates but i want a solid desk

Going to order some black sleeving and heatshrink and sleeve audio, usb and system cables. I almost finnished the first cabinet this morning. Just need alitle sanding and a few rounds of paint and its done. Will update with some pictures in a few houres.

You got what you paid for, but that is rather a lot for paint

Its just an estimated prize and it includes the paint for the fans, mobo tray, hdd racks and the cabinets and desk. Got some paint i havent used yet also. Guess i can use that in next project :-D

The desktop paint is really expencive. 1L costs around 15-30£, so thats what making it expencive.

I meant how much was the gold paint for the chassis alone?

Good to be home again. Picked up a package from the post office. Nzxt led cables 2m x 4, in blue and white. Some cable extensions, psu starter, sata cables and one more radgrill. Still need a few cables and all of the fittings for the wc. Hoping that the store will have it in stock asap so i can order it.

coming along nicely my friend. Has the US stuff arrived yet?

So what sort of weather you got out there? Doesn't look too bad! How many months where you can work outside on stuff?

Thanks G-Dubs. I have recieved some of the us stuff i need. Still need to order biocide, compression fittings and a few 3pinn molex extensions. Gonna start with wc the MB and cpu. When i upgrade the graphics i will need to order one more radiator, pump/res, fans, fittings and waterblocks. Im not sure if im going to upgrade them in the start of 2012 or at next release. Must see how my fps with BF3 is :-)

Winter is near and we already had some snowfall nearby our town. I cant paint outside now, but i can do cutting and things like that. June-august is the best months to work outside here in Norway, but Mai and September can be nice too.

Need a bigger house with garage :-)

Looking better now that the door is on

Yeah and it will look even better when it got its final coats of paint. Will try and finnish second cabinet today so there is only painting left to do on that part. Going to the hardware store this week and get more wood materials for the pc/wc part of project.

Both cabinets are almost done. Just need one final coat of paint and i will post a few pics on how the end result are.

1 more coat and they r done

This might be a bit boring but the cabinets are done and heres a few pics of the results. so far this project have been realy fun, and stress free, and i am 100% satisfied with the results(thought some things could have been more pro with the right tools and workspace). Next part is alot more fun, as i am going to start with the housing for the components :-)

This is after last coat of paint, so its still wet and will look slightly different when its dry. Must say i am relieved now that these cabinets are finnished. Sorry about the messy kitchen :-D
