Just got home from nightshift and im gonna continue sanding/painting. Today i hope i can start painting inside black. that is if i dont get incredebly sleepy

Edit: Got third coat on. Next steps are to sand it, clean it and then paint it black. Oh and i need to make two holes for the reservoirs also, but thats quick to make.

I must say I like it in white, but i can't see why it wouldn't look good in black.

White is very popular and i also like white. The housing will be white on the outside and black on the inside. Reason for black on inside is that it will look ten times better(imo) with the gold/blue parts then white would ever do.

Got 5-6h for the project this night and then i must go to work on a dayshift. Will update with pics when i got it first coat with black paint.

Edit: Almots done with first coat of black paint. The paint doesnt cover the surface very nicely so im gonna take a few pics after second coat instead. Must get ready for work now

Thanks peeps for looking and commenting. Got 11 days off from work now so i will get a lot done the next week. Tomorrow i will try and paint the last two coats of black. Also got some small detail painting in the front where the acrylic will be, but i will need a smaller brush for it so i must wait til stores are open so i can get one.

No i only use brush and rollers. I would need an compressor if i used a spray-gun and that would make this project even more expencive. I would love to have one though, but i could only use it outside in the summer then. Covering up half of the apartment isnt an option for my family

Edit: Added one more coat on. Will give it one more tonight and then im gonna start with first white coat on the outside.

Its black but the camera doesnt capture the right colours. Guess lightning has something to do with it also.

I decided to use masking tape instead of small brush. I would most likely get some black on the white anyways. Need to do 3 coats where those acrylic pieces will be. Looking forward to start painting it white on the outside

I painted more but i got sutch bad lights. Will do last finnish tomorrow morning when i can see better.

Edit:I have forgotten to make holes for the hdd racks, lol. Must do that tomorrow. So many details i must keep in mind.....
