MSN Cutting Out

Twice today this has happened.

MSN logs me out. I try to log back in and I get this sh*t.

Anyone else getting this problem?

Please, do not turn this into a MS bashing thread. Whoever does I will fkin kill them over MSN!!<< (as soon as it starts working again)

EDIT: Don't tell me to get GAIM or Trillian either. I hate both those apps, and if I liked them, I would use them.

nah i aint had no probs, msn has been working surprisingly well lately.

Atm I'm uninstalling it, running Registry Mechanic, Norton, Spyware Doctor, Ad-Aware SE, MS Anti-Spyware, and Spybot S&D.

I hope it gets fixed >.<

Actually it happens very often here in germany. It goes offline in a specific area for a short time sometimes.

Well the weird thing was, I could sign on with my other user name. Not my usual, nsarp@stny.rr.com. I want to keep using nsarp@stny.rr.com, because it's not a registered email anymore, and from past experiences, I'd like to keep my information private.

Fixed it...

Previously, I installed MSN Messenger 5.0 trying to get it to work. It had the same filename as MSN 7.5, and when I had 5.0 on I ran it in Compatibility Mode for Windows 95.

MSN Messenger 7.5 was basically running on Windows 95 = Not Good.

I disabled compatibility mode, re-installed. Back to normal .

yeah sometimes msn does this and you just give it some few minutes and it works afterwards.glad you sortd it out nick
