Monitor Advice and Recommendations.

I'm looking to get an IPS monitor to become my primary display while my sg2716dg will become a secondary display(Mostly for viewing chat and other things.). I am currently looking at the Aorus FI27Q-P. It meets all of my desired specifications for the type of monitor I am after. Was going to see if anyone had any other suggestions to consider instead of it.

Well, Acer XV340CKP is comparable but wider - I'd give that a strong consideration.

LG 27GL850 is probably the best option now. Aorus FI27Q-P is overpriced and doesn't offer anything more than LG which is better in many features.

From what I searched they seem to be roughly the same price, currently. As well the Fi27q-p, apparently, has slightly better color accuracy? Though I did hear people think the LG has better black uniformity.

They are both pretty wonky out of the box. If you want good color accuracy you need to calibrate them. Then there is no difference. Unless you are doing critical color work, but then, if you did you wouldn't buy any of these monitors.

I haven't had a chance to see them in person but Tim from HardwareUnboxed recommends LG over Gigabyte.
