maniac's OC''3''D Rig Gallery

Quickly roughed this out in ps. but this is closer to what i'd consider better (i'm about to leave for home so i rushed)

Edit: i'd have the dot off that NZXT for definite though.

ok fair enough, the intel logo is somewhat smaller than the g.skill one and it should go in a higher position, the thing is that I designed them with photoshop and the decal shop has to design them again to be able to be cut with the machine, and I believe the g.skill one had to be designed by hand as he couldn't find the logo online so some error could have been done in that point. This is what the original image looks like. As for the dot on the nzxt logo, it is part of the logo so I'll leave it there......for now !

swap gskill and intel round

nice rig tho, i bet it draws some power from the wall

Just draw a line, put all the logos against it and then remove the line?

As you can see, the Intel logo is way off and they're not all under eachother nicely...

That said, I think this build looks pretty good ^_^

X58 still rocks, period. Yeah, I know there's faster stuff out there. But LGA 1366 just holds
a special place in my heart for some weird reason.

The Ascent of Man? Holy crap, I must have watched that show about three times in its
entirety, maybe more (yup, I have a weakness for BBC documentaries, even the older ones,
probably one of the biggest categories on my server).

Never watched the show and only heard about it a couple months ago, and then about a month ago I found out my grandad had a copy of the book so I borrowed it for some intellectual reading haha :)

Dont't know about the book (it's very close to the show though from what I've heard), but if you're
into that sort of thing (you know, like the devious mind that I am :D ) the TV show is pretty
good IMO. Sure, from time to time it shines through that it's from 1973, but for the most part
it's held up very well I think.

Bronowski has great camera presence, and there are lots of interesting location shots. What's
a bit different from most things you can watch today is that it's a rather personal view of things
(yes, I know there are personal "documentaries" which get made today, but I'd say most of the
time these are more propaganda than anything else and show an utter disregard for alternate
or objective viewpoints) which gives the whole show noticeably more character than if it were
just a simple history lesson, at least in my view. For the most part, his analyses hold up very well
even in today's world.

Anyway, I'll stop before I've written an entire essay.

just realised I didn't post much pics of the inside so here are a few.

Dust that second 580 fan!! :P

The fan grill idea is nice but will cause some vortex noise for sure!

I'm on it, yesterday I cleaned out the bottom and front dust filters, next are the gpu's, the H110 seems clean so I won't be taking that out for now.

ps. the dirty one is the old gpu as the new one has been sitting in my rig for only a month or so, so it still looks shiny and new hehe :)

The fan grill is just an idea for now, budget is tight right now so it will just remain floating in my head for now :P

I'm sure the Parvum guys won't mind helping you get one cut with their new in-sane-o-matic new gear :P

NZXT have just shared this on their world wide facebook because we posted it on ours ;)

Or because I sent them a private message with the link to the thread on facebook
Hahahahaa I hope you're not mad Tom :) I didn't really think they would share it tbh.
