List of games to play and how much life you'll lose

I've just been catching up on a week or so's posts on here and have seen a few talking about how many good games are coming out and how many people have bought and not played.

Well, I'm in pretty much the same situation and have maybe 20 - 25 games I own / are coming out to play.

I used to google how long a game would last so I could work out which one to play next but a couple of months ago I found a really good site that let you create a 'backlog' of games you want to play and also now has some future releases to.

Basically when you complete a game you've backlogged, you enter the time it took you and it works out various averages to let others know how long it will take.

Anyway, it's pretty simple and a good place to keep track of what you wanna play.

They don't have any of the future releases coming in November listed that I am getting but by the time I have played MW3, BF3, Assassins Creed:Revalations and Skyrim it should be February and about 200+ hrs of gameplay later. Good bye outside world

Skyrim without mods can deliver 300+ hours and when people start modding the hell out of this game it could easily become 300 more hours

And one more thing HEATHEN! YOU SHALL NOT PLAY MW3... It doesn't even have dedicated servers for PC

Meh, i'm not bothered abot the MP I don't play it anyway, i'm only interested in the SP.

I have played all the CoD games from the very first one up to MW2 and I ain't gona stop now and BF3 being better doesn't bother me either because i'll be getting that as well.

Certianly looking forward to Skyrim myself, I expect to sink a lot of hours into that.

Actually, I've just been playing the Nehrim total conversion for Oblivion and put near 100 hrs into that - just completed the main quest yesterday! Woth a play to tide you over until Skyrim, plus manay of the "new" features in Skyrim are already present in Nehrim, such as weapon crafting, cooking etc. Had a blast playing it, though it does have a rather linear start to it, game only opten up after an hour or so of play.

CoD MW2 is the first CoD I've owned and have done 657 hours MP TDM, HC too. That's on my old PC Core 2 Duo, it's about the best running game on that, Black Ops I've done 200 hours as I've played alot of BC2 and MoH and Crysis and.. stuff.

Sniper Ghost Warrior 136 hours

Warhammer DOW 2 350 hours

I've got to install Unreal Tournament 3, love that

I've got loads of games

Clocked loads of hours. I've been ill, I had too

True i think the story of the MW series is awesome, let's just hope that it is longer than 2 hours this time

Good, that's the best deal I've seen on Steam, £2-3 for Fortunes edition. Bloody GG. I might get Farcry 1, I had it on XBOX and PC version is a different game, more missions. I wish the PREDATOR etc Farcry 1 games come to PC.

LOL. CoD:W@W was sadistic on Veteran. The checkpoint on the 2nd to last mission in the Russian campaign (taking out the Flak 88s on the way to the Reichstad) took me 2 hours. I swear I burned through all my PPSh-41 ammo. I'm not entirely sure that site is accurate. As far as BC2, check my statsverse page. I can't tell you how many hours I put into that game over all 3 platforms. I can't wait for BF3 (and oddly enough, MW3). Oh, I'll post my X360 achievement for beating W@W on Veteran. People who've attempted it will know why.

Yeh, I got Fry Cry 1 and 2 with 75% off, which was a truly awesome deal. I'm playing Far Cry on the second hardest difficulty and it has to be one of the toughest games I've played

The four games you mentioned are right on my list along with about another 15 - 20 though.

I'm only playing MW3 for the single player and then I'll sell it on eBay for about the same as I'll pay for it.

BF3 is looking better to me but again, I don't like the multiplayer on these games. Prefer more tactical like Counter Strike. Get bored of being nade spammed and just spawning and dying in seconds.

Skyrim is going to be mental. ACR is right up towards the top of the list too.

So much life is going to be wasted over the next few months.

Will post my backlog from that site in here soon.

Oh yeah, if a game isn't on there yet, I think you can request to add it yourself.

I think you can't sell it because you have to use the key for the SP too for Steam to accept the install, so it'll be binded to you.

I think CoD MP is excellent because it's characteristics suit the close quarter shooter style.

I haven't played much Crysis 2 MP and it'll take alot of practice with its wide variety tactical options though now I think the levels are too small for the Nano suit. Crysis 1 MP levels are quite huge mostly and suits the Nano suit very well, + cool tanks, mods etc so right now CoD wins for fun close combat MP playability. Black Ops is quite well behaved experience and I played MW2 today and gosh, muted that player, got cussed by this player, heard loads of moaning etc, blimey

BC2/Vietnam = awesomeness
