Life in 3D

Hi guys,

My class is making a magazine and they were thinking "oh we'll get Laurens to do all the lay out and photoshopping".. thing is, i suck at photoshop.

so i was wondering if someone here could do this for me or just help me out a lot..

What they want is an ad, something for 3D glasses, but i can do the text myself that's no problem, thing is it needs a full A4 picture of some city, viewed trough a set of 3D glasses in first person, with the parts that you don't see not in 3D, something like this :

but with the right angles, proper glasses and it just has to look realistic, all i can do is some paint...

If anyone could do this for me, i'd be very thankful

I'm working on something but i can't find a good picture of a pair of 3D glasses facing as if you were looking through them.

What I have done is take this image

and done a 3D style picture effect with

url]

What I was going to do is find a picture of some clear lensed 3D glasses and have the view of the normal pic without the 3D effect showing through the lenses but i can't find a decent picture of them to do it.

i have exactly the same problem, so i took a picture of my sunglasses and tried to cut everything away but i cant cut properly and the colors are all wrong

this is what i can do but nothing more :'(

would this be what your having issues with?

duplicate the photo layer, crate top layer in steroscopic 3d and use an image like this over the top (white background erased and glasses colour corrected to match light source forground of photo) and leave the 3D section inside the glasses?

or am I misunderstanding the OP?

I was going for something like this

The cutting out of the glasses was done quickly, I could get it perfect but it would take time and i have to go out in a minute. Here is the glasses if you want to use them.

that's exactly what i want, can you please take some time to make it perfect ?

the illusion of it being a 3D picture could work, but turning ONE image into a 3D image is impossible.

two different images are used for stereoscopics

i am back from my workout now and i'm pretty tired i just want to chill out and watch some BSG tbh, if you don't need it doing ASAP I can do it tonight or probably tomorrow?

ahh okay - just change the RGB thresholds 66%, and offset 66%alpha copies horizontally, over the original

Easier than that you just copy the image so you have two layers of the same image and on one you turn the red comply down so there isn't any and then on the other you do the same but instead of the red you turn the green and blue completely down. When you have done that you just offset one of the layers so you get that blurred affect and finally just merge the layers so you are left with one image.
