ARGH! I'm gonna have to buy one god damnit.
How do you redeem VIP points from models bought elsewhere than lego.com?
I.e. you can get the b-wing on amazon at the minute... can i get VIP points for it?
You only get VIP points when buying directly from Lego Shop@Home or in one of Lego's stores.
If you use ebates you can get an additional 1.5% off on top of VIP points. You get a point for every dollar, 100 points = $5. This is why I usually wait until double or triple VIP promotions. Lego gives free shipping on orders over $75 (in the US anyway). Sometimes Amazon will be cheaper, but any of the 10000 series sets like the b-wing will not be discounted any longer as Lego has strict rules in place for those sets.
I ain't spending 2k on a Falcon (yet) but I reckon the B-Wing is gonna happen
The Silver Champion is currently drying after it's wash (was disgusting) so that build will happen this weekend I reckons

I am over in London at my sisters atm for the sole purpose of sorting and building my nephews lego. A while back the sets got mixed up and since then its gotten worse and worse to the point that I need to go over for a week and I probably wont get it done.
There is so many sets its like trying to find a needle in a hay stack for 12 hours a day. My eyes are currently on stalks and I am looking at everything around the house and imaging how you could build it out of lego.
Here is a few pics of what I have to deal with.

Here is what it looked like today at lunchtime after building all day yesterday for 14 hours and the day before for 10 hours. Oh and there is a big pile of black pieces over to the left but wouldn't fit in photo.
This a few models almost complete just missing a few pieces. They are there somewhere lol.
I have so far 9 models mostly done barring a few pieces that I cannot find just yet.
There is still loads more and I have until Thursday. Somehow I don't think I will be done in time ha.

Finally finished the b-wing. What an amazing build this set was. Easily one of my favorite ship builds.

B-Wing was in 5 and 6 if I remember rightly, I think it was in an indoor shot in 4 but didn't get any space-camera-time.. but again it's been a while.
It's my personal favourite of all the Star wars spacecraft, just because of it's asymmetry and unique design, one of the reasons why the Falcon is so popular is it's asymmetry. But back in the X-Wing game days, I always flew a B-Wing, luuurved it
