dude this is coming along awesomely!
Will you be hiding the lip of the head unit cage on the outside of the case?
Yeah that's why I've not showed it much lads. There's a clip on surround that goes on there, it's the exact width of the case It needs modding though so you can get to the power button properly (it's a ten second job with a sanding attachment on the dremel, those barrel shaped ones). I've just not gotten around to it and made the mistake of putting it on before and nearly snapping it trying to get it off. It will probably be one of the last things that need doing.
Hell yeah
Now try and get Tom to say the name of what's on screen there
Lolz I remember the last Poseidon GPU video ^_^
Poze--Ee--Don, Had me in stitches, Nearly spilled my brew XD
I know right I pick on him for it, same with ob side eon... no one taught tom that it's ob sid eon
In a new feature for us that we have called "Forum Focus" because we generally need to be pie eyed to come up with anything thats funny or makes sense we have given the AAACC Build an airing on the front page of the site.
We will be keepig an eye on the forums going forward for future builds to feature but for now congratulations to AlienALX on his unique build!
Forum Focus - AACC by AlienALX
haha that's cool thanks guys
On the down swing at the moment so this has cheered me up
I must say I really enjoyed this project. More than most. Was sooo nice to go back to my roots and make something useful
Good to hear it has cheered you up dude.
It deserved the feature to start the Forum Focus section, love seeing something unique and a little quirky.

Oh you wrote that? good going man ! I didn't realise that was you as you used your real name
I like the idea too.
So I have decided that if I ever finish this latest rig (savage depression atm, can't sleep, no motivation etc) which shouldn't take long then I am going to build a ground up valve amp from nothing but boards and all of the separate components in honour of a couple of old friends of mine who died.
I've been wanting to do one for years and years now, so once I start feeling better I will be looking around for kits
Was going to do a headphone amp but they are very small and I would probably knock it out in a day.
