Lapping a e6600

LOL I got my CPU on (room is damned cold!) and I am at 19C and 21C.. Okay yes I have an Antec Nine Hundred and an ACF7P but still! And it is lapped but that is still very cold, it is 1C above ambient!

That could be the truth as your ambient is quite low, and both your CPU and your HSF are lapped.

What are YOU using to read your temps?

It might run cooler, but it won't run 19C.

I should have taken a screenshot.. I am using CoreTemp and RealTemp, they both measure the same.

If I can get my room down to 18C again I will take a screenshot.. at the moment I'm playing music and got MSN, Xfire, Steam, AVG and Vista SideBar running and CPU is at 23 25
