Kingston Predator PCIe with Z77?

hi all

i have a Gigabyte GA-Z77-G3H motherboard

can i use the HyperX Predator PCIe Gen2 x4 in the pcie slot underneath where i will have my gtx 780? will it work as my OS boot drive? (or work at all on this old motherboard?)
