Where the hell have I been?

I just noticed this thread now.

Awesome project.

Looks like its gonna own.

This thread was made before you joined and he's only started the actual project haha :D

Ive been a busy boy this week, Kemps case has been sat about for a while as he wanted it as a 'back burner' job. But With a new lease of life after telling my employers where to put there new hours for me (10-4 6days a week so I couldnt do any TTL) I got out to the body shop.

The painter has been mental busy as he is getting ready to move, so muggins here has been learning how to prep and paint the basics.

Righty ho. Tom's been ridiculously busy with TTL and OC3D so he had to take a break from the project.

However, we just had a chat and he's hopefully going to get the case polished and put back together which means I can then pick it up and build the thing!!

Quite excited :)

Right it's been a long long time, but I've been using the PC for a while and I thought I'd put up a few photo's of the pretty much finished article.

The dual loop's been just about squeezed in. Not as neat as I had hoped, but it works. The radiators are sitting on rubber feet and using WCUK rad stands. The PSU also sits on rubber feet.

The only thing that's missing is the fan control unit. It went missing in some travels, although I have the front of it. See the last two pics below. I've got the original control unit but I've not used it. I'll probably attach it at some point.

Note I was going to put black perforated aluminium on the bottom in front of the fans but found it restricted airflow and made quite a whooshing sound. As the bottom bay is closed off from the top, it's not a big issue and I think it looks pretty cool too

Note that the fans on the rads are being controlled by a fan resister unit, all set to 5v. The front and rear fans are controlled by the motherboard and don't ramp up hardly at all
