Is this normal? Rusty brown radiator

Hey everyone:

I am new to watercooling therefore Im not so sure about this......

I bought a radiator few days ago and the front view looks just like every black radiator

but looking from the angle, the fins appear to be brown and patched...... is this rusty or just different coasting?!

Please Help....

very normal to keep the paint thin on the fins where most of the cooling takes place they spray very lightly. if they covered them fully performance would take a huge hit.

the material of fin is copper so i guess the brown colour is also from its oxidation.

^some copper has a clear coat that will dull it a bit as well
