Ipod Problem...

Just got my hands on one of those new Ipod Shuffle's but have a problem

I have installed Itunes and everything but as soon as I connect my ipod to the pc, Itunes opens, scans my ipod then says everything is ok and I can disconect it. After this my Ipod disapears from My Computer and doesnt respond in Itunes.

Any ideas what the hell is going on ???

either a loose connection or your ipod is fecked

try re formatting it and/or replacing/updating the firmware

if that fails then i reckon you should take it back where you bought it.

though first check itunes settings etc too.

I would check in the Support section of apple.com and see if they have a solution there. If worse comes to worse take it back and eplain your problem.

Wow, me too. Right after I tried to install the update. I uninstalled Itunes and used CCleaner to delete entries then reinstalled, it detects it once again, but i can't change the songs on it. It's really been

ing me off, I get all kinds of errors, and it also doesn't let me restore it.

Ahh, no not quite. Itunes only detects mine once, and I am unable to change my ipod at all. Hmm, I was being stupid, however it's still funky for me.

Took it back to HMV today and got a full refund

Connect your ipod and reformat it to FAT32 using the HP USB Tool

After that, uninstall Itunes an delete its registry files. Then go here http://www.ipodwizard.net/showthread.php?t=7369

and download an old update. Restore your Ipod and try installing Itunes 6. iTunes 7 is known to be crap.
