i3 2120 or 1075T

I am thinking about a new entry level gaming rig. But i also use some cpu demanding softwares like matlab. So i narrowed down my options to i3 2120 and 1075T(non BE) as both available at similar price in here. The GPU is most likely a 6850 maybe a 560. I thought a true hex core is better than hyper threaded dual core, but SB is new and Phenom old ages. So help me to pick one.

I know i5 is better, but my budget does not allows it. So its better to stick with a sub 8000Rs (150USD) CPU.

If I were you, I'd go for the 970 - it's a quad core, but that's all most games recognise these days (if that). It has a higher clock speed than the 1075T, and I think it's a better option.

Actually, I just looked at some benchmarks results and it seems as if the little i3 actually out does the 970 and the 1075T at most things (http://oc3d.net/37)

And, those benches are the i3-2100, clocked at 200MHz lower than the 2120

I know 2120 outperform 970/1075 in benchmarks, but i need to know real world test results. In heavy multitasking, which one is better? any idea?

also if i get a GTX560, is there is any possibility to CPU bottelenecking.
