Firstly, as everyone else has said Frag, you are a hero. If I were there now, you'd be getting a massive pat on the back and a few crates of beer for your efforts! I think I speak for everyone on this forum when I say that we are ALL proud of you!

Secondly, although this is a terrible and tragic event for the girls, I would expect that it's not been too good on you either. Again, the whole of OC3D are here to help you through any difficult times as although many of us have not met you, I know I speak for the community when I say we all know you! If there is anything you need, just say!!

Although this was an extreme act of evil from this man, the extreme act of justice was served when you turned up mate! You have saved three lives!

I'm not up to speed with American law or anything, but are you liable for anything for shooting this guy?

This is the sad fact in the UK mate, if this had happened over here, the guy running people over would have served about 2 months in prison and person trying to save the girls by shooting him would be locked up with the key thrown away! That's how f*cked up our legal system is!!

I don't know, I believe a hero is something more. You have to do some truly great to be a real "hero". Saving 10 drowning babies at the bottom of a lake or something crazy like that.

Read the thread in my post, the local PD was contacted about this, CALL FOR YOURSELF, we were defending him at first until he was proven to be a LYER. I was the first to question his story after reading the local articles, the board owner then contacted the local PD and this DID NOT HAPPEN!

But the police have been questioned and the reporter who worte the story was contacted and they say it is B.S. The story says that the perp wasn't even arrested until the following day at his mother's house.

This guy has fabricated this story around this crime to make himself look good. WTF!!

uh, i see where you guys are coming from, but you have one person saying that the police chief has denied the story with no evidence to show for it.

I agree it is strange that the articles don't state the shooting, but it is possible the press got it wrong, after all it wouldn't be the first time.

I say, rather than coming on this forum shouting "shenanigans", you should have waited to see how the story develops so you had the full picture
