PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS STORY HAS BEEN PROVEN UNTRUE IN SOME RESPECTS. FRAGTEK DID NOT SHOOT AT ANYBODY, AND OC3D APOLOGISE ON BEHALF OF ALL OF THOSE WHO HAVE TAKEN OFFENCE AT THIS THREAD. WE WOULD ALSO LIKE TO THANK THOSE WHO HELPED REVEAL THE TRUTH.
The time was approximately 10:45pm last night. My room mate and I had both just walked out the door from our local watering hole and were heading down Main Street to our vehicle. As we got about one block from the bar, two blocks down the road we see an SUV run off of the road on to the sidewalk and hit a smallish tree knocking it over. We didn't think much of it at that point but "hahaha look at the dumbass that just ran over that tree!" That was until about a split second later we heard the screams of young girls, who had been RUN OVER by the SUV. We both immediately started a dead sprint towards the vehicle, I got on the phone to 911. As we got within one block of the vehicle we witnessed what was one of the most horrific thing's I've ever seen. The driver of the vehicle (a black male) jump out with an aluminum baseball bat and start hitting, as hard as he can, one of the girls. I can still hear the sound of the baseball bat connecting with her arms and head with every hit, it sounded just like a home run hit on a baseball with loud shrieks of pain coming from the girl as he made each connection. Once we were within a quarter of a block and he noticed both of us charging him he dropped the bat hopped in his vehicle, ran over one of the girls one more time that was stuck under the fallen tree, and tried to run us down on his way out. I was in such shock when I saw the SUV coming for me I drew my semi-automatic pistol on the driver and fired 8 shots through the front windshield and drivers side window as he passed. He then swerved and wrecked his truck in to a building, I knew I had scored at least one hit on him. Once the driver wrecked I took my attention off of him and ran towards the girls. There were three girls involved, ages 11, 12, and 13. I first ran up to to the girl that was beaten by the bat (she was the 13 year old I later found out), when I got to her she tried to raise her mangled arms to me, bleeding from absolutely everywhere. I grabbed on to her and just held her waiting for EMT's to arrive, she looked at me and in the most helpless crying voice said "Please help me, please help me" over and over again. There was nothing I could do but tell her that help was on the way, I didn't want to make the situation any worse than it was, I didn't know the extent of her injuries. As I was holding on to her, my room mate was trying to dislodge and get the 12 year old out from under the tree that had fallen on her. She as well was very tore up, bleeding from numerous spots, she was unable to walk or barely move at all. Luckily the 11 year old was only slightly hit by the front right of the SUV as it came for them, she was able to run away and only had a small injury to her arm and leg. In the meantime while holding this poor girl I kept my eye on the vehicle which was wrecked in to the side of a building to make sure the driver didn't try and make a run for it (I didn't know what his condition was after shooting at him). He was able to open the drivers door and fall out on to the ground, that's as far as he got. Fire trucks, EMT's, and about 8 sheriff's deputies showed up within about 4 mins of my original phone call to 911. The 12 year old that was stuck underneath the tree and run over twice was injured so badly internally that they had to life flight her out of town. This is by far the most tragic and inhumane thing I've ever seen in my entire life with my own eyes. I never would have expected this to happen in the small town in which I used to live, it's such a nice quiet country town. My prayers go out to both of the girls that were hospitalized last night, I will be following up today to see if I can find out where they were sent and if I can visit them, I feel obligated to do so after all of this.
As for the attacker, he was severely wounded by three bullets that entered his collar bone, neck, and shoulder. He did not die fortunately, nor was he mortally wounded. I spent the better half of the night down at the local PD answering questions for the officers and giving as much information about what happened as I could possibly remember. Before leaving I was congratulated by the point Officer on the case for apprehending the attacker and that he would more than likely be charged for three counts of attempted murder which will land him in prison indefinitely.
This morning, I still sit here completely in shock and awe of what happened. I can see everything so vividly in my head, the most vivid being that girl being hit with that baseball bat the sound that it made each time it connected. It's like that sound just keeps running through my head over and over again. It's absolutely horrifying....
Someone please enlighten me how someone could possibly commit such a crime on completely defenseless YOUNG girls? My guess is that he was strung out on some very major drugs....
I will report back the status of the two girls just as soon as I get more information or when I get a call from the sheriff's office or the police department. So tragic.
