I witnessed the inhumanity and evil of man last night...

I know this sounds dumb but I am proud to know of someone like you Frag, you are truly a hero. I hope that the driver is put away for life and pray that the girls will make a full recovery. I also hope that the legal issues you have to deal with will be minimal. I don't want to sounds racist but do you think this crime had to do with race at all?

I hope it is ok, I put up a link on my forum, and a myspace bulletin.

As I said to you yesterday Frag, I hope that you are holding up ok too? Even though the girls were predominantly affected by this senseless act of violence, in some way you will have been too. If ever you need someone to talk to I'm always available.

Further, even though you may not accept the hero status that has been placed upon you, I'm sure that the girls that you saved, would hold you in considerably higher esteem. Your impulsive actions and training, no-doubt held you in good stead and prevented the incident from escalating to something considerably worse. Have you inquired as to what hospital they have been sent to? I'm sure somewhere down the track a visit may assist with the healing process.

You're a good man and well done.

PV :)

Holy hell man that is just insane. Idk why anybody would want to do something like that to innocent children. You sir, are a hero. Accept it. Im glad to know somebody who can walk the walk. Just goes to show that a person trained with a gun carrying one is a good thing.

I do have to say one thing though. To the parent comment, yes they probably are in alot of pain. But you have to consider, what kind of parent would let their 11, 12, and 13, y/o daughters out that late at night by themselves? Makes you wonder what was actualy going down.

That was probably irresponsible of the parents but it still all comes down to the fact that he didn't have to do that.

Purely speculation, but perhaps the kids were out late trying to get away from a domestic violence situation...I can't imagine many parents purposefully allowing children of that age group out that late at night.

Man that is truly awful. It's something out of a film/movie.

I truly respect your entirely for the act that you did.

My sympathies go out to the girls and the parents.

Once again, your truly a hero!

Unfortunately, crime seems to be higher amongst those types (at least in America).

Frag, I hope you pull through OK man. You may suffer from post traumatic stress disorder in the future, so watch out for that. Make sure you're open and talk about it, and if necessary, get yourself some help and don't take the bad route. (Drugs, etc.) I'm sure you know all of this already, just reminding ;).

Parents let their kids out all the time over here late at night. Here in my town of Venus they have a curfew of 11 during the week and midnight on the weekends. The worst part, is the parents know of the curfew but yet still let their kids out anyways.

Wow! I remember as a young person my father always wanted to know where I was, and if I moved from there to go somewhere else (another friends place etc) I had to ring him. And I certainly wasn't allowed out at that time until I was around 16 -17. Times have changed somewhat though :)

For the record, my kids won't be allowed out at that time of night until they are considerably older that 13; in fact my daughter will be locked up until she's 21 if I have my way :D

I never really stay out passed 11...even when I'm out till 11 it's usually because there's a special occasion or something. When I stay out late I do call my mom and tell her...and if I ever stayout passed 11 it's usually with my brother (22) so it's ok usually. I call my mom with what PV said, for example I went to the elemenary school to play basketball, but then decided I'd walk to my other friends house to play so I called my mom, and told her and she doesn't really get mad.

Trust is good :)

what a differance of culture :O in malta i am 15 and the usual curfew of parents at that age is usally 12-1 am , but usually i stay later or even dont sleep at home , and another diffrence in culture is that in the US you cant go in discos till 21 here its 16 butttttt im 15 and the bouncers dont stop me in any club i go in and we get served alcohol from beer ranging to absinthe in strenght

so if you wanna have a fun holiday come to malta ;)

well i dont think its good to say but naughty stuff are very easily to find in the hands even ho-hum is easy , mumbo-jumbo is a bit more difficult but that is Malta were the law is there for nothing ;)

I think that's quite bad also :(

In the UK you are meant to only be allowed 1 shot of absinthe.

A lot of places stamp your hand to show you have had 1.

Altho a place where I used to go (which is closed down now) used to serve as many as you wanted. A 17yr old girl who I know had 3xShots of Absinthe + 5xWKD's + a few mixers. (she was so wasted that she beat up some girl and didn't even remember the next day, altho apparently the girl had bullied her in school)

Bah this thread is slowly drifting off-topic :)

How are the girls Fragtek?

Soz for off-topic Frag :(

I was going to put that at the end of my post but decided not to. Do you think it's healthy to be exposed to such things at your age? I just find the prevalence of narcotics and how easy they are to obtain, extremely frightening. Tis a sad and sorry state the world of today.

Do we have any updates on the situation Fraggles?
