i need help with water cooling im new to it all

i know but the build i was lookin at with a custom water loop was over 3 grand going air cooled im under 2500 and considering i dont plan on overclocking it at all and i tend to keep my room at around 16C

I read in another thread your selling your car in order to pay for this build. Uh why not just keep the car and spend money you do have?

What exactly will the pc be doing?

If only 1080p then you could easily cut this build in half for the cost.

For 1080p i would get a 4670k, 280x, 8gb ram, 650 watt psu, Fractal Arc midi R2, and 120-256GB SSD with a 1tb-- or a full blown 512GB ssd. Probably cost around $1200--$1400 and much less than $2500.

ya im gona buy the 4670k a 320 gig ssd a sabertooth z87 a 780 gtx ti 16 gigs of ram and a 2 tb hdd i allready got my switch 810 case and i gona get the silver arrow extreme air cooler

Mine as well go for a 280x Crossfire with the budget. Almost as fast as 780 SLI and save some money?

Go for a h100i. Much better than the Silver arrow. Also make sure to get 8gbx2 ram configuration over 4gbx4.

idk according to bench mark reviews using some games the silver arrow had better cooling well the water one does perferm better but only 1 degree c cooler supposidly

Put the AIO in the top as exhaust, Keep the rear fan as exhaust. Get fans for intake. 2 in the front and 1 in the bottom if you so desire. This gives a 3 intake to 3 exhaust ratio allowing you to not worry about the dust.

id rather get a all in one thats 3 140s and i was gona remove the bttom hdd cage and run 4 intake fans fount some fans that are just under noctura fans specs but are black n silver with a red led i may get the swiftech h320 and run coolermaster jetflow 120s

Quite honestly if you aren't gonna overclock, even the aio 240mm rads like h100i is already over kill for you.

I'd take the h100i for the reduction of weight/stress on the motherboard if for no other reason, but you could quite easily just run on air. Cheaper, easier build for you and less that can go wrong....

Overkill in this case would be a good thing, he could run the fans super slow allowing him to have silence. He can afford it and allows him to build up on it in the future. If nothing else he only ends up with amazing cooling if he decides no on going custom.

ya im realy lookin at taht swiftech tri fan cause it would look nice in the top bay of my case i just wish noctua made non brown fans

Just get the H320 and not worry about it. iirc you live in the US? You will have to buy from Canada or Europe to obtain one though as Swifttech are going through legal issues on their coolers(Asetek is just scared for competetion so no big deal).

its gona be a few months befor i order everything i just tend to plan everything ahead of time so if the parts i dropped for cheaper version drop in price i can upgrade a lil also idc about silent operation

If you don't care about silence, and you don't need performance above a certain point, and you don't like the noctua fan colour....

A) Definitely go for AIO or Air cooling. Custom loop would be a waste for you, since you would not even appreciate 2 of the 3 reasons for doing a custom loop.

B) You don't HAVE to get Noctua fans. There are many options which are just as good and have better colour schemes. Scythe Gentle Typhoons, Corsair Quiet Edition fans, eLoops (not sure of the manufacturer of these ones).

Hope this helps you.

there are Prolimatech Vortex Fan Aluminum Series i kinda like the over all specs n look of these but there 2 ball bearings and idk about that in this day of age
