It's very quiet.
Edit. The only one tiny complaint I could possibly bring up is that the keys are quite stiff to begin with and take a couple of weeks to settle in. That's pretty much just because it was new.
For backlighting you won't beat it given that it runs RGB LEDs that can be customised into thousands of colours. About the best I've seen was a Saitek that could go either blue red or purple.
The quality is as you would expect from anything Dell or Alienware make. Very solid.
Great to hear, apart from the stiff keys but as you say, that's only for a few weeks. Is there anything bad about it (long term)?
If you get a mechanical keyboard then I recommend to look for Cherry MX Blues. I fell in love with them at a friends house. I'm ordering a Blackwidow with my computer soon.
No not really. I've had mine for three years now and trust me it's had a battering and the worst thing I could say is the space bar is a bit loose.
But, I type FAST and slap on my spacebar like a bass guitar player
I got mine when it launched and got it for £50. It's very solid and well made as I usually smash my way through keyboards in the endI had two before it and the space bars broke on both.
I am NOT getting a mechanical keyboard
i seriously don't get what your problem with mechanical switches is. there are mechanical switches that aren't too loud (MX brown), and it just feels way better than the stupid membrane keyboards.
They are louder than membrane keys and for me, silence is everything. As i have previously explained i need a keyboard that my mic wont pick up because in my youtube videos right now its pretty loud.
Then use some soft-landing pads or rubber rings under the the key caps.
I am using the products of Samsung for a long time. The products of Samsung are very much reliable and trust worthy. Kindly try atleast once.
