How mount ISO for DVD player

Hi guys. I have some media ripped in ISO format. Maybe it's just me, but I have no idea how to get this on a disc so it plays in a regular DVD player. I thought I knew how to do this, but apparently not. PowerISO says "this file is not supported" despite the fact that it recognizes the files as .ISO. I also tried using ImgBurn, and it accepts the files, says it burns my data, verifies it, and then gives me the disc. Only problem is that Windows says nothing is on the disk? What should I do? I've wasted quite a few DVDs,so I'm in desperate need of help. Thanks.

It depends how you ripped it. If you ripped it as a data DVD to an iso then no, but if you ripped it using a program specifically for ripping Video DVD's then possibly.

When you burn an ISO to a disc, you shouldn't see an ISO after the burn. In ImgBurn use "Write image file to disc."

What did you use to rip the original DVD?

How can I tell what type of ISO it is? I downloaded this stuff, so I don't have any details. Like I said, when I use Imgburn, it goes ok, but Windows doesn't see anything, just a blank disc, yet the disc looks as if it has been burned.
