How long will it take?

I upgraded my internet on Saturday because Telenor (The ISP) came by all the houses in my neighborhood with a great offer. They offered 25/5 speeds for only ~£2,50 more than what the slowest line they got which I have and it's only 2/0,5. So of course I said yes, but I'm wondering how long it will take for my internet to be upgraded. It all went through paperwork and not online since they came knocking on the door. That might do so it will take a bit longer? But how long will it take?

Isn't there like a general timeline across the rich countries? I was going to send them an email, but I had the have my birth number and stuff like that and I'm too lazy to bother finding it. (Yeah I don't remember it. )

I hope at least it will be upgraded tomorrow. I'm sick of this slow internet. I used to have a 20 line and I loved it. I know it's not outstanding in other countries, but it's fairly decent here in Norway. And now I'm getting a 25 line. Going to be so nice.

Here in Britain, they can take from anything between 3 days to 2 weeks.

Just wait at least a week before you contact them.

That long? That sucks.

Another thing, I think Telenor should have specified on their site on how long it usually/can take before it's upgraded. I keep checking on SpeedTest in hope for an upgraded line.

are they having to upgrade the plant??? I work for Time Warner Cable here in San Antonio as both an installer and a service tech. And most speed upgrades are simple bin files they send to ur modem. Once reset with the new file it should be instant. NOw if their having to go to DICSIS 3.0 (which I doubt for those speeds) then you'll have to wait til they upgrade thier system.
