How can i fry my video card?

I wanna be honest about my purpose:

I wanna RMA the card. The card is a GTX 590 and I have about a year of warranty left. The card is from Zotac and is NOT being manufactured anymore nor sold by the retailer where I got it from.

The card is extremely loud and consumes a lot of power. By RMA it I will probably get a 680 or perhaps can make a deal with the retailer giving a few extra $$$ to get a better card. Who knows?

Wether or not I will get a new card or money back is my own problem and I'm willing to take the chance.

So how can I "destroy" my gfx card? I have really tried a lot of things by now.
I tried flashing the bios, no luck. I have tried to OC the card, no luck.
I read about some bad drivers that would 100% kill the GFX card but they seem impossible to find.

Anyone got a good idea how to kill it so i can RMA it?

I'm currently thinking of putting the video card in the microoven for just 5 seconds, until I see a spark.

Anyone else knows how to deal with this?

It is a stupid idea. What you are going to end up with is a dead card when Zotac tells you to shove it up your ass. As somebody said, sell it! Add the difference to buy a new card.

I don't know about here, but some companies will follow top forums to see what is said about their equipment. It would be funnier than hell if one of their people read your message.

And people don't seem to understand this part.

Why I wanna fry it on purpose? Because it's extremely loud and uses a lot of power. I can get a new upgrade 680 which is better in all the ways.

Why not sell it? Because I paid +800$ (Dunno the current value in my county) and there is no chance I will ever get that amount of money for a used GTX 590.

I guess the microoven is my only solution since the card / computer keeps rebooting when it's getting too hot.

koda lets be honest here what your asking us to do is to Fruaduantly help you rip a company off because your bored with your graphics card.

what your doing is a criminal offence in the Uk and USA the USA carries a prison term of 5 years the uk is a £10000 fine and upto 10 years if we help you in you endevours then were just as liable.

so my advice to you is Dont do it tom and all staff @ oc3d and even members have a legal obligation to report you to the authorities for soliciting help for a fraudulant act i have already sent the link to this very thread over to the company your trying to rip off so good luck with that cause you will not get any help here..
