does anyone know of a way to get rid of "Win 7 Internet security 2012" it a virus with a changing .exe??

i'm thinking of just deleting my paritsion and starting over but i have 2 other hard drives one for acrap load of movies and music an another for games that would need to get formatted as well.

so is there an easy way to get rid of it or am i just screw and have to reformat everything

If that doesn't work, give Malwarebytes or Super Anti Spyware a shot.

Malwarebytes works great, download restart in safe mode run Malwarebytes, restart all sorted.

its all gone bleeding computer has a step by step way to get rid of it. It a really crappy virus though it make it so you need two computer to get rid of it. due to the fact it doesn't allow you to open an .EXE files, along side a changing file.exe name.

but you can get around the not opening the .exe files if you download a program that adds something to your registry and then another program that find and delete something so you can then run the virus scan.

Though I'm still curious of how i got this stupid thing to begin with cause I hardly ever go strange site's but who knows

Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware seems to work the best. Make sure you have the programs updated. I'd suggest running in Safe Mode and scanning as there will be less things active in Windows.
