Help me choose a MB for my Pentium Anniversary

Hello everyone,
I am looking for a board to go with the new Pentium.
I want to get my feet wet in overlooking, and it should fit a Bitfenix Prodigy, or a similar Case.

Which one do you think will give me the most value for money?
I even consider getting one of eBay, but I didn't do much OC yet and I'm a little overwhelmed with all the options.

Thanks in advance
Cheers

Welcome to the forums, what would be your budget for a motherboard to take the LGA 1150?

I had about up to 150 in mind, but the cheaper, the better. I realize that OC will need a better board, but since this is about getting a feel for it I don't want to spend too much.

I want to learn and take it with me from time to time to do some old school gaming, but nothing serious.

Some motherboard companies allow OCing on h97 boards as well but Wraithguard is right on the money :3

Sweet, I had that board in mind already.

Would it change much if I was to go full size?
Might just be me but it feels weird to use a 50 quid CPU on a board for more than 100 :-D

I've just bought one of these pentiums too, mainly because I had one of the originals 20 years ago, and thought it would be a bit of fun. I'm going to build a 1080p gaming rig that will double as a media PC, so small and very quiet, I've bought a 250D to put it in, and now looking for motherboards.
My main concern here is cable routing, I have a spare H100i that will be cooling it, yes, I'm aware it is overkill on the pentium chip, but I'm hoping that the cooler with some quiet fans can be kept in silent mode and still deliver acceptable temps no matter what the rig is doing, so in the context of a media pc its not quite as insane as it sounds.
The MSI boards have all the major connectors right where the H100i sits on a 250D, and as someone who likes the easy life, I started to look for alternatives that would make installatuion and cable management that bit easier. Ive found the asrock z97 board, the Z97E-ITX/ac , and that has no connectors at all on that side.
Anyone have any experience with Asrock boards? I've never used one, although it seems well featured.
