Let me introduce myself.

My name is Jean-Louis and I'm a teacher from the Netherlands.

I've been a console gamer for pretty much all my life and pretty much only played WoW on my laptop until last year. That was when I discovered Starcraft 2. That was when I decided it was time to get my own computer.

TTL's Youtube channel was very helpful in helping me decide what to get, how to overclock, etc. TTL's reviews helped me choose Mushkin memory, D14 cooler, Bitfenix Survivor case, 6950 2GB; the guts. Oh and NO optical drive!

Next week I'll pick up the parts and put it together with my brothers in law. Will make pics of the process and post. I know you like a good set of pics!

What's next to purchase?

SSD (small one for OS)

Surround set (Logitech Z5500 or its followup)

Second 6950 for CF.

Personally I would go speakers -> SSD -> 6950

1. This is because I think a good pair of speakers can really enhance the feeling of a game.

2. These things really speed up the overall performance of your PC.

3. I put this last because the 6950 is a descent card so you might not notice a second one with some games.

Thanks for the advice! I'll probably sell my Xbox 360 with the games to get one of the three options.
