Just joined and thought it I should introduce myself before plundering your combined brainpower (there would be a diabolical smiley but couldn't find him...probably out plundering). I hope some of the stupid questions I ask won't annoy you guys too much.
Thanks for the welcome, I've already posted my first question on the OC3D memory forums. Trying to get to grips with which 8GB memory solution to stick onto a Asus P5K Deluxe WiFi and Q6600.
I spent half of last year traveling in Aus. and loved it. Way too much to see there and I came away with the impression that there are never long enough lenses, enough mega pixel sensors and time in the day to shoot enough pics over there.

My pleasure mate, and I'll head over and have a look at your question in a jiffy.

Wow 6 months, now that's a nice long stay...I hope we were hospitable and friendly? And yes, the countryside is so vast here that I can relate to your photographic dilemma's. Welcome aboard anyway
Guess I did spend a while in Aus. I started off in Melbourne and then went west along the coast a bit before heading up through the middle upto Darwin. Got to see a lot but not enough...(never enough.. :banghead: ). Some of it was pretty fuzzy and warm around the edges because I kept insisting to my friend who I was traveling with that we should stop and get a case of wine at each winery we might see a sign for (I'm a firm believer that you should try the local produce when you travel). Enjoyed the Mindel markets and beach a lot and got into warm fuzzy giggling fits at the tourists ( I wasn't a tourist...I was the guy with a bottle of shiraz and a straw in the corner :yumyum:  ) every time they started clapping after sunset.
