HE 120.3 in the top of a V1000

Hi guys...

I really like these cases and would like to see if a 120.3 would fit comfortably in the top of the case (3 blow holes). I know I would lose either one or two of the CD drives but that's not important to me.

I have looked at all the measurements and as far as I can see it should go in no problems... probably wont be able to use the bottom PCI slot on the mobo but then hey, I never do anyway.

Anyway Guru's.... what are you opinions?

i own a v1000 and yes it fits but with the depth of a thermochill rad and fans ull possibly loose the pci slots.

personally i would put a 120.2 in top witha 120.1 in bottom

ill be wanting one dude you know it

cashman i suggest just a 120.2, a triple rad isnt needed in all honesty

if you use the proper shoud you may well lose more than just the pci slots as his pic isnt clear if he uses a 40mm standoff or not

also dont bother with a 120.2 and a 120.1, the added restriction isnt worth it IMO

tbh you should just buy my pc75 on the classified section lol jk

Yes Bacon, I am getting a little bit of itchy feet with the Waterchill. Its been a good intro to watercooling but I just fancy a new case and some more substantial watercooling gear.

I really like what youo have done to that V1000 Phil... have you got any more pics? Id love to see a few more!

Im also actually very interested in your Case Bacon... I just have to decide between the V1000 and your PC75. Have you any more pics of the case and the blowholes Bacon?

yeh is a tough decision, me personally want a much smaller case, the tower isnt nice when you have to lug it back and forth all the time

Pc 75 all the way for me also,ive fitted a 120.3 thermchill at the top of my case with the new rad shroud tha has just come out,not tested it yet as im waiting for some new parts to come but my system is 1/2 1250 pump DDRBX(Nos 5#) DD sli chipset and thermochill res and im getting 25c idle and 29-30 full load cant be more happy with the way it`s turned out,plus the pc75 has shed loads of space.

No the one thing i dont have is a digi cam but that will be sorted by xmas.

You know it was sods law with my new case,i was after a secondhand one for a while and none where about so i had to buy new,then the day after i get mine built,there was loads for sale :/
