4 x boxes, about the size of 2 pc large tower boxes joined together - each.

Bought about a year ago maybe and the total cost was about £20k trade.

From Apple and are computers with screen etc, i.e. complete setups.

What are they in terms of power ?

(forgot to mention the mountain of dust on them)

I think we are going to need pics.

Now the thing is, of course, if I was currently in a position to take a pic - I`d be able to read the boxes and know the machines and research the beasts online.

Come to think of it, it`s a real stab in the dark question - but then I wondered if apples were that finely priced that some1 would say it`s either an A or a B - being about £5k a completed package. Big boxes mind u, I was refering to 2 full tower cases in their boxes put together.

G5's maybe?

Maybe, sounds reasonable when it comes to the price.

Ye but a year ago Core2Duo wasn't out so they'd have to be G4 PowerMacs surely?

What the heck are you talking about?

G4s were like 4-5 years ago, last year was the year of G5s!

OMFG I hope you guys are just joking.

The "G" processors are IBM's PowerPCs.

The "G" part is the processor, now that we use Intel, there is no "G".

G5 is G5 and Core 2 Duo is Core 2 Duo.

I was under the impression G stood for generation.

Edit - Generation of PowerPC processors, not macs. lol.
