GTX 970 3,5GB + 0,5GB with 56 ROP and less cache than advertised.

It does for me. What it doesn't like however is anything about 60hz refresh. setting 120hz causes dishes, horses etc to bounce all over the world in an uncontrollable effect.

It may have something to do with the amount of mods you have installed to when using SLi

I see that AMD are really hitting Nvidia hard with their advertising now.

It won't stop for a long while AMD will milk this for years to come that's why I think Nvidia should offer some kind of compensation to customers so they can at least save face a bit

If I was the CEO at Nvidia I would definately offer customers a step up option it makes total business sense and is far better than offering refunds or a product recall.

The polls show over 50% want to return their cards so nvidia need to play this right or stand to lose a lot of money

I've just been reading that Nvidia are not making a 970 driver fix/ performance driver. I guess they can't fix a hardware problem with software. +1 Nvidia

looks like Nvidia are up shit creek without a paddle ^_^

This is going to hit Nvidia where it hurts, their pockets, not just for this generation but in the future as this is a major hit to their reputation.

This isn't just a few guys saying that Nvidia suck because Ubisoft can't make a good game with Gameworks, this is a an issue that affects what is likely their most popular GPU ATM.

Nvidia need to act on this, NOW.

Hopefully this gives AMD more confidence to actually hurry up and release some new products too. This free marketing (that will have given them more positive light then any of their actual advertising) should be used to its full potential.

I don't think nvidia thought the consumer would care when they announced the differences, they thought everyone would ignore it and carry on. Instead there has been mass uproar with thousands of rma's being raised, their own forum being plagued with complaints, AMD kicking them when their down.

I think they are probably trying to find their feet and put together a solid business plan so that they can make some kind of recovery from this

Nvidia have made an official announcement yet so till they do the brands are just making these decisions on their own.

I think MSI will come through for us, they are one of the big boys now so if EVGA offer it so will they just to protect their brand name

Whether retailers follow suit is another thing.

Brands are probably not allowed to make any statement until Nvidia have or allow them too. It is still Nvidia chips on there so they have somewhat the final decision in anything.
