GTX 460 SLI PROBLEM NEED HELP!!

"So it seemed to have been a combination of the video card and monitor not being compatible with each other." Tis is what that guy from the video said... but its very unlikely.

Try another sli connector if you have one or install older drivers. Something else you could try is to minimize all the graphics settings in the games and see if the problem is gone, including all filters... uhm... maby a pcie connector has some dust in it and doesnt make good contact. Try both cards in the second pcie slot, maby the slot is faulty.

If nothing works you should start thinking about RMA i'm afraid

Maby you've changed NVIDIA control pannel settings or summin.

I think you should re-install drivers and use the sweep option in custom install and if you don't use 3D don't install that. I've re-installed driver when there was a problem and it didn't fix it and i fixed it by deleting the driver. Because re-installing without deleting doesn't delete profiles, setting stuff and they are glitchy and after enabling SLI re-boot

My flickering was about four times faster than that and affected any 2d text box etc on screen, but not the actual 3d game itself. RMA time, sir

I get 2d windows like internet pager flikering after enabling SLI so I re-boot and it works properly with SLI

Thanks ComputerGenius good luck

Dude thats what i meant by " reinstalling the drivers and deleting whats not needed. admitted i mightve been a little vague but.....

Exactly what i'm talking about! It goes away and clears up then soon as you think it's stopped BAM problems again!

i was reading about online and some people have the same problem and it was the sli cables problem, so im going to have to buy one off ebay or something like that ¬¬

if i finish all this i plan to do watercooling aswell and im wondering if a 200 lph will be enough for a cpu(i7 860 oc), 2 gpu (460s oc)and a 240 radiator? because the 460s are around 80 when gaming and when i run fur mark its like 85-90+

240 rad isn’t enough for a dual gpu setup, get at least a 360 rad.

yh i want to but because im going to mount my rad on top even with a 240 rad i still have to mod my case because there isn't enough clearance for the vrm mosfets and ram dims so either im going to have to seriously figure a way to mount a 360 rad or just use a really thick 240 rad with a push pull config
