Fury X Differences?

A Sapphire Nitro Fury is pretty close to Fury X benchmarks. Usually only 1-2% difference in most cases. They did a fantastic job on the updated Tri-X design.

Indeed. Even at 4K it doesn't trail the 980 Ti that much. It's my current choice of card if I had the money right now (SFF case so must be air cooled).

By the time I've got the cash for a 4K screen and a GPU we'll have Polaris; here's hoping that Sapphire's NITRO line continues to give blistering performance for a half-decent price on Polaris.

If you want to keep up on whats going on with Sapphire, don't forget their Twitch/Beam broadcast on Sundays at 3PM Eastern time, Sapphire Nation.

I know they are already exploring next years coolers. But everything else is under NDA at this point and information is pretty tight.

Thanks for the tips. I'll definitely check it out.

From what I can see you are comparing a non-reference (Nitro Fury) designs performance against a reference GTX 980Ti and then singing its praises even though it still doesn't beat it? No prizes for second place in this competition I'm afraid.
