I would like to replace my 3450 with a 4670

Is my system strong enough and espacially my power supply

I have a amd phenom 8450 with 3 gig ddr2

one harddrive 640 gig sata and one dvd writer

and my maximum resolution is 1440*900

and a fortron power supply 350watt

and when it's not strong enough what can happen with my pc

They make pretty reliable psus mate. I've have a few and they're pretty stable.

Give it a go, and if you run into any problems then you know where to look.

i'm still scared i will destroy my mobo

it wont destroy anything.. it just wont boot up if you PSU isnt strong enough If it does, your incredibly unlucky.
