Remind me to never discuss politics on Twitter again. I publicly disagreed with some guy who said that 'there would be no sexual harassment in the workplace if women would just stay at home and raise the kids' as if that's a viable solution, and now I'm being cyberbullied by the alt-right :lol:

Well there's some logic in there, though being a man and staying at home looking after my son and doing all the traditional mum stuff, I'd say men take over that roll and let the women go out and do the working, maybe that would reduce the number of male suicides

Saw some cheap (well, relatively) ram on Black Friday and it was in stock so I decided to order!
24.11, 13:00: Order placed
24.11, 23:00: Confirmation of order received, with the text "shipping in 2-4 weeks", curiously in Swedish
26.11, 08:00: I reach out and ask if the 2-4 weeks was true, since they were in stock when I ordered and paid for them.
28.11, 14:00: They reply with "Yes, we reached out to supplier and they confirmed it's being packaged as we speak and should be there for the weekend, worst case early next week".
01.12, 12:00: They send a mail telling me that they don't know when the memory will be in stock, and gave the choice to wait or cancel the order.
Well, at least I found a decent deal on 2nd hand b-dies.

I mean, what he said is definitely true. I just meant to say that it's not a reasonable solution. A safe workplace should be a given imo, and not sexually harassing people shouldn't be too much to ask from a decent human being. But apparently thinking this just makes me a triggered, overly-optimistic libtard.

I'm not too bothered by it anyway. I just meant to illustrate the political hellscape Twitter has become. I like to think that I wasn't disrespectful towards the person who tweeted that thing about women at all, but yet here are the alt-right calling me a 'soy boy' and DM'ing me to kill myself because I don't agree with them :lol:

Ordered mum a really nice dab stereo with cd from Amazon Warehouse. It's buggered. CD won't read, radio doesn't tune (yes I plugged in the aerial) and it won't even show up on bluetooth.
Given I got it from the Warehouse I phoned Panasonic. Two hours of messing around, turns out they won't repair or replace Amazon items. FFS.
I wouldn't feel so crap, but mum just paid £50 for a stand for it that also has to go back now

So got an email from my mom and about 20 economic migrants, All men aged around 25-35 moved into the apartments near my mom in Berlin a few days ago and have started making the local peoples lives a living hell, Throwing stones at people coming out the local church, Harassed women, Grabbing young school girls, Broken windows, Looting the small shops etc....
The authorities aren't doing anything as they say it's their right because of their culture and the local people should respect it and keep quiet, Spineless disgusting cowards, So now my mom has no choice but to move because she's in fear of her life, So now I need to book a flight over and help her move ASAP to my uncles place.
That Merkel needs her head checking for subjecting her own people to this, It's evil.

So I may have to evacuate my home soon.
Southern California is basically ablaze from 2 massive fires and the closer one may hit my city around 02:00.

I'm not to worried. I've had this happen multiple times living in SoCal. This is just the worst one i've ever seen due to the fact we have 30-60MPH winds carrying the fire.
I'm laughing at all the hysterical people though. "It's burning an acre a second!"

1 hour = 3600 seconds.
Fire(s) started Monday morning, roughly 28 hours ago.
28*3600 = 100,800 acres.
It's estimated to be about 40,000 acres. Good job reporters and news media. Nice job on basic math. This is why I hate the media, they manage to lie about math. MATH.

Not to worried but some people I know live near the hills where smoke is coming from. If anything i will be heading over to that side of town and helping people.
Edit: well 2 more fires just started.
On a different note the one closest to me just jumped mountains. I saw it happen. Looks like I should get ready to start helping people.

Good luck, if that happened to me, I'd prob die in a blaze of failed glory. My pc weights 40kilos. Good luck trying to run with a TT tower in your arms
I think I have to bite the bullet and downsize.. saying goodbye to my 480 rads is the problem though.

I had 480 rad in my Haf-x and there was no way of running with that thing, walking was bad enough

You and I are similarly afflicted. My case is so big that saving it would be impossible unless I could somehow put an engine in it and drive the thing! I don't even know how much my case weighs, but with 5 rads and around 2.5L of fluid, I'm not going to throw my back out lifting the thing.
I tried downsizing, but you really end up missing the rad space. A pair of 360s in a "normal" case just isn't enough rad.

Now 4 major fires with a total of about 70,000 acres burned and essentially 0% contained. The winds are f* everything. Winds across SoCal are 30-70mph or 48kph-112kph and it's causing the fire to just go from place to place in random directions.
About 2,000 firefighters in total and we are getting more help from the US National Guard, Northern California, etc. Fixed wing water craft can't help due to winds and smoke causes no visibility. Helicopters are about 30 last I checked but are not enough. They can only go so far from the ocean to get water or a water tower to the fires and can only go so fast.
Probably won't be getting on for a while. My town is now on high alert and the city is telling people to pack and prepare to leave because if we get the go to leave that means the fire is about 90 minutes out. the thing is only 3 ways out if my town of about 100k people. Gonna be a cluster f*.

Edit 2: Alright so I made it through the day. Still on high alert and the winds got worse. I expect power to go out soon. Usually does with the wind like this and having massive fires makes it more likely. Keep you all updated hopefully.
