So I've been talking to a cousin of mine in the Republic of Ireland who works as a lawyer and is involved with all this soft border hard border stuff, Now with these soft and hard border talks between the Republic of Ireland and the UK, This presents a problem for those of us with Irish citizenship living in the UK, Even though I'm half German and was born in Germany I can't have a German passport and even though I've lived in England since I was 6 I can't have a British passport, Only an Irish one, Even though someone coming in from the depths of the middle east or Africa can get 1 in the blink of an eye, Nothing against those men and women from those places but I just find it very odd that a native European can't get a passport for a country in the Europe area but a non native can, Weird.

According to the latest news from my cousin, If it becomes a hard border due to Brexit, Anyone who does not have a British passport/citizenship will have to leave due to having no real legal right to be here and as I'm not from the middle east, Asia or Africa I couldn't claim asylum as I'm just a European.

So if things go south I may have to move to southern Ireland, Yay, Adventure time :rock:
 
I've been to Southern Ireland. If you can do away with your material goods and bells and whistles it's a facking great place to be. Proper snow in the winter, beautiful scenery and rolling hills etc. My first proper bird was Irish :) Gortfada? Mohill? something like that she was from. I remember going to the pub and the police had assault rifles. However, I've never drank so much in my life. Great bunch of people to be around tbh.

My dad is native Irish, Only spoke gaelic until he was 10 years old as he moved to England with his parents in the 50's, He's travelled a lot since then.

I've spent time at his/my cousin's farm helping out so you never know I may become a farmer as I love working outdoors ^_^

haha listen mate to a 16 year old kid from Brixton it was the biggest culture shock of my life !!

First thing I did? we were walking 2 miles from my mate's Aunt's house to his parent's house. Basically his parents did not come it was just him and I, and we were due to stay at his parent's but there wasn't any sod there and it was too cold (you will know what sort of sod I am referring to !). Any way, we were walking there and it was snowing proper hard. Then I saw a lamb had fallen into a ditch and got caught in the fence. So I climbed the fence and rescued the poor sod before it froze to death. It was roped to other lambs..

Then the mate I went with (whose parents were both Irish) says that his uncle is going to give him a dog. A Jack Russell, and we can pick which one ! so I'm all excited and we go there and my mate picks a dog to take home (we smuggled it in a budgie cage with foam in it). Any way the uncle goes "That be the dog you want there?" my mate goes "yeah". So he picked it up, took a rusty old pair of scissors and snipped its tail off and threw it into the pig feed bucket.

PMSL dude I so nearly passed out. Poor little bugger was whining like crazy too :D

Yeah, you soon lose your urban roots when you get out there.....

On the German side of the family, My mom, They are all farmers in Bavaria, Been there a few times, Helped on the farm for 3 months, Was brilliant, No internet, No crappy media, No TV garbage, No news telling people who's died and which new war has started, Was bliss ^_^

Yup. As my girlfriend Geraldine used to say "You gooyz are so forward !". They were still wearing shell suits FFS lmao.

Edit. And it's not sod (well, it is) it's pete. Or peat. Basically looks like rolled up dirt and grass but burns and warms the house etc.

The irish side of the family actually lives near a peat production place, They get free peat for winter in exchange for some milk, butter and beef, burns like a mofo too ^_^

Yup. I was all like "How the f**k is that going to burn it's just sod/turf?!?!?!"

Must contain a lot of dead wood and trees tbh.
 
So I went to my estate agency today to tell them the cooker is acting up as it's part of the contract and the owner was there so I talked to him as all the other people who work there were busy.

When my contract is up at the end of february he wants to put up the rent to £1000 a month, From its current £500 a month, And I can only pay him every 6 months as well as a £1000 admin fee for him choosing the 6 month option.

It was really hard to understand him as he's a pakistani, Who also apparently despises white people, And also resembled jabba the hutt which goes hand in hand with his greed.

So at the end of February I have to move again to a new place somewhere in Northamptonshire because of some greedy racist slob, Yay.........

Northamptonshire isn't Cali though, Far from it in terms of money and life quality, Average apartment price here is around 600 a month minus gas, Water, Electricity etc.....This guy wants to put it up to 1000 a month, Insane.

Life quality still not much better. It's all over priced.
And nobody has money in Cali. Everybody is broke because of real estate lol. Only wealthy people are in LA or Hollywood. Couple other places but nobody outside of Cali knows them.
 
Corsairs k70 rapidfire keycaps are absolutely useless quality, everytime i take them off to clean them and the keyboard base, one key breaks again.

This is why they brought out the PBT doubleshot keycaps, They cheaped out on the keycaps that come installed on their keyboards, I really love my K95 Platinum but the keycaps are really low quality.
 
For a 200 euro keyboard it is utterly disgusting to be honest.

I love the K series keyboards as i can keep them clean with much more ease then other keyboards where there is a shroud around the keys, but for the price, having such low quality keycaps is just wrong.

I will pick up that keyset when i get some spare money because i love the switches on this rapidfire.
 
I don't trust anything Corsair make these days. Haven't for years. They've gone down the drain and now that they are a big company they just shoot for profits. They used to be so good and innovative. Nothing good ever lasts I suppose.

Yes I've steered clear of them now myself as they have just been trading on their name and nothing else for awhile now, which is such a shame really as they were one of the best
