I got that update yesterday for my one M8. Most of the apps I use already implement the new "material" design, so the changes don't seem too drastic to me.

The most noticeable changes are the animations and the new task manager.

The reason I really wanted it was that I really wanted the chrome tabs in my multi-tasking window (or app manager, not sure what it's called), and the improved lockscreen notifications. Quite like both!

Not, onto my FML:

So I started a Twitch channel recently (which is doing decently, 23 followers in less than a week). I decided I wanted to stream some CS: GO and bought it on G2A (mods: if this can't be discussed here, please delete this post). Stupid me bought it without Shield. Never a problem. This time, I buy a game for 12 euros (which is quite a lot for G2A), and well... I got this yesterday:

Well, at least I got 2 hours of game-time out of it

Contacted the seller, still waiting for a reply. He did have a 100% seller rating, so I'm sure he'll co-operate. If he doesn't reply in 9 days I can make a claim and the sites support team will step in and try to get me a new key, even though I didn't have shield active.

I did win a Heroes of the Storm beta key yesterday though, so I got that going for me. Which is nice.

Pretty sure my rig died today. Dad was working on it and i spotted my water level was a tab below where it was the previous day. So i tell him to leave soni could fix it. I found a defective bitspower crystal junction fitting. No worries. Fixed. Refilled. New leak el rotary appears. Quickly drain fix no prob. Another el rotary fails. Fixed. Anoter eo rotary failed. Fixed. Another el rotary failed. Fixed. No problem and i leak tested and cosed the fillport then boom. Huge gusher all overthe inside of the case. Unplugged. Everything disconnected. But the lights on the mobo stayed on for four hours. I dont know how but the thing has to be toast

Mate if it was something i did wring id understand like only half tightening or something but i didnt. It was a chain of failures in quick succession that was one in a million coincidence. Im now going hard line. And praying i got the power off before the water hit something

There has to be a blockage or stupid restriction somewhere to cause that many failures.

They were all rotaries that failed at the rotating part. Im guessing the internal oring had aged or warped. That or they cant take the pressure of a d5

Yeah mate this has been going on for a bit but up to now I was okay with it as it basically meant waking into things that I couldn't feel anyway. I guess today is just a shit day for me.

We had a back up keyboard as well but that doesn't work either so now I can just not use my rig at all until I spend money that I don't have atm on a new one...

Nah, the numbness is forever. Guess that's one good thing

IT WORKS. THE BOARD LIVES

Let it dry in the sun for an hour, tried it, LEDs had fixed themselves but there was no input at all. Put it back in the sun, went to therapy and just got back AND IT FUCKING WORKS. I am so lucky :lol:

Had a new clutch fitted in my car on friday, tuesday afternoon going around a roundabout after filling up with petrol, an old lady with a saab decides not to look right and carry straight on in front of me. Passenger wing, door and sill all need either replacing or repainting. Then there's the alignment to sort as that's way out. She said about sorting it out between ourselves so my insurance doesnt go sky high but now that i've told her it'll be 840 quid to get it fixed she wants to go through insurance . I haven't got the money to pay the excess due to the clutch job and I daresay i'll end up having my car written off. Mssive FML

Yes but if it was her fault doesn't that mean that her insurance pays you?

I'm sorry to hear that mate. My keyboard has suffered a lot of spills before. Usually a good blow with a hair dryer for a few minutes usually does it.
