Before caseking.de bought them I had so many problems it was untrue and that's also why scan fails, They are owned by a rich indian guy who has no idea about customer service and doesn't really care as long as he makes a profit.

Yea, that's cool Dice. I haven't ever shopped at OCuk before (although i always have a look) I have read how much they have improved in customer service recently. It's a really important factor when i order something from a company, rather than being stuck up poo creak. How scan treated me back then made me not go back to them for 9 years or so and even then i refuse to buy things like motherboards/graphics cards etc... from them.
 
Posted last Wednesday 1st class (tracked), Signed for Thursday at Scan, Easter got in the way, Tested and Failed Tuesday - Awaiting Replacement since. That's pretty good service and they called me to tell me it had failed and was being replaced.

I often live in the Republic, England and Germany quite often as I work in different countries quite often and trust me when I say living in England for any length of time is much worse than Ireland or Germany.
In general the quality of living is far below what I've experienced in Ireland and Germany which really annoys me as some of my closest friends live in England.

That's pretty good, i do hope its sorted out quickly for you Wraith! My thoughts are just on when people get burnt then it's kinda hard to forget! I did purchase my cooler and os from them, but i'm more cautious these days definitely! ;)

Meh it gets to me when it gets to me but I'd rather it be sooner rather than later, great thing is Scans returns tracker so I know what's happening plus I communicate every 2 days to chase things up keeps them on their toes :D
 
heh, thats cool. Keeping on em toes is good! :D I must say though the delivery system is nice, it's almost like stalking the poor delivery driver :p No coffee break for you Mr delivery person, wheres my package... STAT! :P
 
Northern Ireland is good. Mainly because everything is 40% cheaper compared to where I live. Never been Southern Ireland.

Compared to Germany everywhere sucks ^_^

But sometimes boring is good and every time I go to the Republic I have an awesome time at parties :)

Guess you just went to the wrong places :p

Germany sucks as well. Terrible connections and lots of movies and games get blacklisted. Quake 3 is still blacklisted, games like Fallout are only available with german dub (you can't even set english dub in steam) and german dub sucks balls. I once wanted to play coop Saints Row 3 with a belgian friend of mine and we couldn't because i had the low violence version.

Video games aside Germany from a quality of living stand point is the best place I have lived and worked in Europe and so far I've worked and lived in 6 of the major countries in the EU.

Unless you have experienced more than 1 country from a work and living stand point you can't really form a proper comparative view point of it.
 
Went on holidays to London, really liked it, same as Munich (but the Germans were so stuck up), I was referring to how the government takes so much from the people yet they get serious cash, not the standard of living. Northern Ireland is good but most of the people, I don't like... same as the Deutsch. Us Rep. Of Ireland people are very laid back though
 
as im a heavy night shift worker & I do pull triple shifts going from one place to the other I was interested in this product called liquid breakfast, really nice handy to drink on the go instead of munching away on crisps an stuff, anyway have been gulping this stuff since Wednesday night, I just had to abandon my triple shift.. as its also liquid a............................................... FML I am mortified.. think I might never EVER go back SERIOUSLY FML I liked that job lol
 
downloaded a 23gb game. download client decided to die for some reason when it was done. gotta download again. great

They fight it out all the time, Would of been worse if it was half english half german lol ^_^

Trust me, Live and work in England for a year and you'll see what REAL lazy is.

There's a reason why Germany is number 1 in Europe at the moment and it's nothing to do with lazy ;)

Need to wait for them to patch and fix the issue before I can play the game.
