I just don't understand how they lose things, I have worked in a Royal Mail sorting office in the past and there is no way something just goes missing.

The Mail gets emptied from sacks, sorted by postcode, put into boxes or sacks then they are loaded on to the delivery trucks. If something was dropped someone would see it and if it got put in the wrong postcode area it would have been noticed by the postman and he would of taken it back to the sorting office.

F*** them, from now on it is a courier all the way, even if I lose a couple of £ on the shipping.

What has gone missing? Sorry if I missed it somewhere.

I sold my SSD on Ebay because I needed the money, that was two weeks ago and it still hasn't been delivered. The buyer has contacted me and asked for a refund, I told him I can't be held responsible for Royal Mail losing the item and told him I would claim for a lost item and give him the £50 compensation from Royal Mail.

It might still be found *crosses fingers* but unlikely. It is just more stress added on to the stress i already have at the moment.. FML, seriously. :D

It could be a scam buyer i would watch, depends how much positive feedback though.

I thought that but he has a 100% positive feed back with 345 feed backs left, no negatives and only one neutral.

I did send it 1st class recorded and I checked the website with the tracking number and it says that they still have the item. According to Royal Mail that only means that it hasn't been attempted to be delivered thought so it could still be lost where ever it is.

Is she still with the lad? If she his then don't be a d***. If not then fair game.

She says she isn't, i cant really go on much more, im not going make a move till i know 100% shes not because i know how it feels to lose somebody to somebody else but its just to revise for exams.

Royal Mail can be so unreliable at times, I remember ordering something from Amazon, laptop HDD to replace on a friend's laptop. First one never showed up, they refunded me for that. I ordered another elsewhere and that showed up 3 days later.

I hope your buyer receives it, I know how much hassle it can be for you and the buyer. Maybe sending it via courier is a better option but if they have lost the SSD then it isn't your fault. Your buyer may not see it that way though.

If its recorded you should be covered man, call those fuckers and make them look for it from the guy that last saw the package

Im planning to use it as a readycache, now i still use it as a normal ssd

My OCZ SSD supports readycache, basically the ssd is not visible drive, it but it caches the most frequently used files from hdd to ssd, So instead of most frequently used files being read from hdd, the most frequently files are read from ssd automatically. so it speeds up the boot times, start up of the most frequently used programs files games etc. It has to be used alongside a normal storage device (HDD).

Where and when?! :D

Anyway. I actually think a relationship thread might be helpful! Sure, it's not manly, but I stand with my opinion. I've never really been a lady-killer though

The whole "Manly" thing is a load of bullshit anyway.
Relationship advice isn't "UN-manly" if anything it's more manly because your looking for info on how to better deal with a woman's wants and needs which last time I looked being with a woman and making her happy is a good thing and one of THE most manly things you can do ^_^

Not sure what is worse, the sexy lady thread or a relationship advice thread.

The sexy lady thread is so people can admire women and the advice thread is so we can give advice to the people that don't have the good fortune to get with women :)

If you have to work at pleasing or getting a woman then you'll never be happy and in the end neither will she, just be your self and go with the flow.

Or in other words, the sexy lady thread is for fapping and the relationship advice thread is for when fapping doesn't cut it anymore.

You totally got the wrong end of the stick there, Your making out like every woman is the same, That there is no learning curve when it comes to women, There is and asking for advice now and then is a good thing, Not just for relationships.

That would be the way sad little wankers use it, In general it would be there to help your fellow man :) *the advice thread that is*
