Feronix, it's really annoying when they do that. You do nothing all day but wait, you go to the toilet or have a shower and they knock on your door.

Yeah, but then again I was asleep until like 10 so I *may* have already missed them anyway. I also have a dog that needs to be walked <_<

I've had it happen where I was literally home all day for something like this, sitting in the living room (from where I can actually see the front door) just watching TV and playing with my dad's laptop. Didn't see any mail guy all day, and when I checked my trace code they said that they tried to deliver it but no one was home so I had to come and get it myself :\

My Corsair Dom Plat 16GB just got delivered.

Hahaha, they should send another text though, Scan usually text say between 12-1pm. Which an hours difference is fine.

The worst is when you wait for a product to come, no sign. Log in to your account at night to check whats going on and it says delivered! Some nugget stole the Kindle I ordered for my Mum.

Amazon were good though, looked into it (don't know the result of their search) and sent me a new one.

Meh, might not get my GPU till Thursday now. Spoke to Scan and they are still processing orders, I will probably get emails later today but 50/50 chance that I will get my card tomorrow.

I paid for next day delivery but I guess that's one downfall of doing finance, People who physically pay up front automatically go into the system and as for cheapskates like me. They have to put it in manually hence a longer waiting time.

As long as I have it for the weekend, I am happy.

Big FML moment for me, for me to get paid i need an agency to send an email to my hotmail account and i click on a link on the email and it adds my pay to my paypal account. However, they are having technical difficulties so they can not send emails to hotmail accounts so they suggested for me to change paypal email addresses for the time being, so i tried that but it turns out they need to send an email to my hotmail account and i need to click a link to change my paypal address but ofcourse they cant send the email so i am stuck without pay until they get the issue fixed which is anyones guess when. Grrrr.

I sorta had a funny one today.

Started my new job in an office at 08:45. At 10:30 I was being loaded into an ambulance having collapsed.

Not sleeping properly + Stress/Anxiety of a new job + existing inner ear issue = One resident in a heap on the floor.

Couple of injections at a&e (in my arse) and rest for the day and I'm right as rain.

Well I tried to go back the following day, never made it. Back to the hospital & signed off work for a week.

Turns out I have a viral infection in my inner ear which on top of the existing condition isn't good.

My boss is being super-cool about it though but I'll have to crash-course the training on my return as I'll be a week behind the campaign.

For the sake of a couple of quid a year, register your own domain and use Google Apps. Gmail provides all the backend/web-browser inbox functions and you get a proper email address which sorts all the "we don't accept hotmail/gmail addresses" issues.
