Just not revising, first time I took the test I only needed one more mark to pass, second time was two marks and the time I passed was by ONE mark...personally I think it's a bloody fix. I do with the driving test as well, some things they mark you down for are like "What? Ima bash your skull on the dashboard in a minute coffin dodger".

so, its my turn, so a couple weeks ago I started my first job ever, and as a result I made a great friend. A couple of days ago I met with his girlfriend while going home and she was accompanied by this fugly chick that is her co-worker that fancied me (for you guys over at the bodybuilding/powerlifting thread you probably will understand that I can't stand dating an obese chick). Anddddd apperently she found out my name and added me on facebook. I am currently mid-chat with her and feeling awkward as fuck, I don't want to ignore her like an asshole and in the same time I don't want to show her any interest as I don't want to hurt her (although I don't know her).

Not really an FML this one but it was funny as -snip-. I was asking my friends to see if anyone got a spare sli bridge and one of them came forward and told me he's got one so there I was thinking I was saved. I asked him if it was black and flexible (is that what she said? 
) and he confirmed it, we usually meet on the bus every morning while going to work so I asked him to bring it with him this morning.
As soon as he got on the bus, he gave me this.....
I laughed so -snip- hard as soon as I saw it, I couldn't stop, and then he explained it was black, flexible and had sli written on it so he thought it was that. anyway I thought I'd share this.

Yep he did, IIRC he got a 3770k and a 680, he built it mostly himself but I was present to make sure he doesn't mess anything up.

Today i spilled a glass of water all over my desk.

I had an operation last Tuesday to remove a lump in my throat/neck. Wasn't anything serious - had the lump for about 3 years, and have only recently had the time to have it out.
So, I was told it was going to be a very minor operation, and that I'd be in and out the same day (was told this as I was being wheeled into theatre even)...
Woke up a few hours later to find tubes sticking through my neck (I was in a pretty bad state to be honest, so wouldn't have been able to go home anyway that day) but I was then told the tubes would have to be in for the next 3 days. I got out of hospital late on Thursday night - I was feeling perfectly fine from Wednesday morning onwards - just had to wait for the drain lines etc to be removed...
Waited over the weekend, and by Sunday/Monday, the swelling hadn't really gone down at all. I was in any pain as pretty much all the nerves in my neck are still fried, but it was pretty uncomfortable and so I got back in touch with the hospital to see if it was a problem...
They asked me to go down straight away (even though I then had to wait 3 hours for the doctor to come and see me), and then I had a 2 massive syringes of blood drained from my neck. This was the worst experience of my life - having 2 very large needles stuck into my neck, held in there for about a minute, whilst a doctor pressed down on the swelling to assist with the draining.
After this, he said I needed to come back on Wednesday to have the stitches out - which were painless. However, as the swelling had come back again I had to go through the agonising procedure with the needles again to drain out the excess fluid.
...He then told me to come back the following day for it to be looked over again, and as it was swollen up again, I had to go through the same thing for a 3rd time.
At the end of this, he said there was obviously a problem as I was bleeding internally with no signs of it improving on it's own...
I'm now having to go back into hospital tomorrow morning at 7am, to have the wound re-opened for exploratory surgery in order to find the source of the bleeding.
As this was supposed to be a very minor operation - having to stay in for 3 days at the start, then go back in 3 times before being readmitted for another emergency operation I'm not exactly feeling too great about it all now!
Oh well!

seems like a lot of fun.
i have a very similar story, even though it didn't happen to me but my mom.
my mom is a very cautious person, she pretty much goes to doctors all the time to check if anything is wrong, so she went to a dermatologist to check for black skin cancer in her birth marks. turned out one of them on her leg was very close to turning into a cancer cell.
so she had it removed, was no big deal they just cut out the birth mark and some parts around it to make sure the cancer didn't spread, sew it back up and all you need to do is keep the load on your leg low for a couple of days.
unfortunately the stitches broke, so she went to the same doctor again, who sewed it back together. a day later it broke again and my mother got pissed and went to another dermatologist.
that guy then found out that not just the stitches were poorly done, the wound also was infected. so he had to cut out even more out of her leg and he couldn't sew it back together, for some reason the wound needed to heal on its own.
she couldn't walk at all for 2 weeks, even with crutches it was very painful.
i guess the fml part in this for me was that i had to drive her around to some doctor every 2 days and get her bandages from the pharmacy every day, + the entire house work. ah well, could've been worse.

I have some girl that's in my words pestering me. She has for months BUT she backed off recently because I told her how fit her mate is!
I actually went out with her when she was like 13? (Second year of high school), she moved school in third year so haven't seen her in years, anyway we got talking (me just being friendly) but then she's ringing me ALL the time...I just don't answer. I told my mate and he says he saw her and she's quite fit so I said right I'll ask her to meet us outside the gym, but dude your staying with me!...so she meets us and when we decide were we are going I tell my mate to drive away but he wouldn't lol but anyway that was what?! 6 months ago! Until like two weeks ago she has still been calling all the time, so I've answered a few times but I'm really not interested, and her mate is fit, big butt, big boobies so I just told her how nice her friend is (praying she'll pass my number on or something) but no, but at least I get some peace!

So there I am looking to buy an 8 pin pci-e power extension, I contacted a local shop and he confirmed he had in stock so I go over there after work (wearing a long sleeve shirt and long trousers in 35 degree heat) and as soon as I arrived and told him, he's like "no, we don't have that, sorry bla bla bla" and there I am sweating and shit so I headed back home.
As soon as I got home I found one from specialtech's ebay page so I ordered it for £11, its expensive for a 25cm extension tbh. Anywho, today I received the package and guess what, I got the wrong item, they sent me a 6- 6+2 extension and after contacting them via ebay, I receive that they are out of the office until next monday. I was so hyped to finalize my rig finally, guess I was wrong!
