Some people just shouldn't be given authoritarian abilities, Goes to their heads.
Amen! I've been a mod on a once huge mc server for a long time now (longer than the current owner, longest in staff altogether!) and the owners/ high staff NEVER come on but when they do if anyone pisses them off, BAM! banned... also been a fair few 'touched' mods too :P

I ran a 120 person Minecraft server. Admin abuse is always incredibly tempting, especially when you consider certain aspects of the Minecraft 'community'. DayZ and Arma is probably the only game in which admin abuse is more of a pain then not abusing it.

Yaaaaay, transfered the money on Friday, got an email saying they received it first tthing Monday morning. Then nothing.

Had to phone them AGAIN to remind them to actually ship it out.

Oh, and I'm getting really bad headaches any time I get physically active, like during morning exercises :(

PSU arrived today. Outside of the time PostNL told me it was coming. Anyway, all excited I pull out the, other than the missing PSU, complete build and take the unit out of the packaging.

As the PSU as mounted at the top of the case, I set the case upside down and tried to lay the PSU in the correct place. Well shit. There's a metal bit blocking the PSU. Really?

First build ever when I had to use an actual saw (no dremel).

Two 'incisions' in the edge:

Bend it:

Wow, could finally drop the PSU in now. All screwed in, plugged in and ready to close the side panel; Side panel has another metal bulge that's spot on with the metal that I just bent back. Are you kidding me?

Did my best to bend it back with the PSU in place, but that was kind of impossible so now the side panel looks like this. Not /that/ bad in person as I told my dad and he literally had to search for the 'issue' I had told him about, but it's still a shame.

Chieftec case; Never again.

Oh the joys of hitting a tiny but important snag when building or modding, nothing ever fits right or goes right first time.

After 6 years of general abuse at the hands of a corporate company, some weirdo and me my beloved lenovo x61s' battery has died. Goodnight sweet prince.
I've ordered a new one (battery) for a bit more than I was expecting but now I have to re upload the images I just took and my internet really isn't playing ball.

Dude, a dremel would have done a MUCH neater job of that in a matter of seconds :P (I know you said you don't have one, but GET ONE! Easily the number 1 modders tool)

I know I know, I should get one. Would probably end up buying the cheapest one posssible though. Is a Dremel 200-5 any good?

Seriously though, you should not need powertools (or any tools apart for a screwdriver for that matter) to get a power supply into a case :|

Pretty much any dremel is fine dude :) You can build your collection of 'bits' as you go! Just don't buy a cheap knock-off one, get a branded dremel and you're set, good warranty and loads of accessories!

Yet another motherboard to add to my collection of motherboards with bent pins. This time my 5 yo brother decided to run his nails over the cpu socket pins.

I actually managed to bend the pins back into their places, the mobo posts without cpu cooler but as soon as the preassure of cpu cooler is applied, the pins bend into wrong places, and the mobo wont post.

Fun fact about this motherboard, it has VTEC vrm's :) (you can see in the pic)
