Hi guys this is my first post. I am soon going to be watercooling my rig and it will be my first time. I have done lots of reading and been watching alot of videos and i feel i have a lot of confidence going forward, i just need help on one or two things.

I was thinking about using a corsair 600t case with

http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spshop...m-Triple-Radiator--Full-Copper-pid-15305.html

i am unsure what res and pump to use.

the other case i am thinging of using is the nzxt switch 810 but i don't think it will fit under my desk.

any help would be appreciated.

i think the 360mm rad requires some cutting in the corsair 600T to make it fit in the top....tom did a video about it a lil while ago... http://oc3d.net/4M if you think you can do it then go for it!

otherwise maybe go with a 240mm rad, or go with the NZXT switch 810 which (if i can think corectly) does suport a 360mm rad in top

yeah the TTL vid is the main reason i was thinking about the 360 plus i like to have a cool and quiet pc

then by all means, go for it! remember pics when your done!

but sorry...no idea what to tell you about pumps or a res....

i dont watercool myself....

depends, if you want a dual drivebay unit, dont get a ddc / res combo but get a d5 and a drivebay res instead. if you want a tube reservoir then by all means get a ddc. if you have one spare drive bay then get one of the single bay reservoirs that supports 2 x ceramic pumps

Yeah I second that am using a DDC ultra with a XSPC Bay res and it is the loudest thing in my rig. Makes my case vibrate like crazy. Will be getting replaced soon as.

Should have put the res in the drive bays so it was hidden and tidier..... no need for it to be on the floor.

Few 90 degree fittings and that could have been mega tidy. Shame

we all have a first for everything guv'nor

yeah i was thinking about putting the ress in the drive bay but i wasn't too sure about it. i might try it maybe in a 6-8 months when i change the fluid over, anyway i really like the way it looks with the blue die and the blue pcb on my mobo and gfx card.

If it works for you best then all means keep it as it is. For end of the day its for your use not to anybody else.

And before i forget, Great Midsommer to all

right i am gong to upgrading my pc going to go with haswell. I am looking at getting a 4770k on a gigabyte g1 sniper m5 with 16 gb kingston hyperx beast 2400mhz and a ax 760 powersupply. i am going to be re doing the loop and i like ttl said i am going to have the res in the drive bay this time. The question i have is do you think the m5 micro atx bored will look silly in my corsair case, going for a minty green and white look.

The m5 is a micro atx board; it'll look ridiculous in a 600t. If you want a g1, get the sniper 5. It's a pricey motherboard, but at least it'll fill out your case. And no, green and white won't look bad together. Just don't fill your case with green LEDs or anything. I'm getting the sniper 5 in my white Phantom 630, and I'll be using white LEDs to light up the internals to provide contrast with the green highlights and backlighting. It should look pretty nice.

right so i have just ordered a gigabyte z87x-ud4h got some red bitfenix cables some new hose and blood red ek fluid. i will be ordering a 4770k, 16gb 2133 kingston hyper x beast and a corsair ax760 watt power supply.

going for white case with black and red inside and the ress/pump will be in the drive bay this time. will post pic once i am done

ok so i got all my hardware on tuesday done a quick test to make sure it wasn't doa and started on the loop. I got to say this being the 2nd time i have built a loop it was much faster and i was a lot more confident. I took TTL's advice and put the ress/pump in the drive bay out the way and i got to admit the build looks awesome. I am so happy with this build.
