First CPU you've ever owned?

My first computer was an old Advent with a 486 SX33 that had a socket on board to upgrade to the DX2 66 max. It had a jumper you set bus speed to either 25 or 33 MHz. The first PC I built Myself was based on the AMD K6 166 on a Gigabyte board, S3 Virge with 4MB of memory, 16MB of Ram and a Maxtor 1.2 gig hard drive. Left the PC world alone until maybe a year or two ago when I started playing around with bikes and cars.

The first PC I owned had a 1.3GHz Athlon, sadly that thing decided to go to hell and overheat... First PC I remember the specs of in the house was a 2.6 Celeron in a Acer Aspire of some sort.

:yelrotflmao:
This was my first, and Intel 8080, it ran CP/M.

My first system was a Intel 8088 with the old Amber monitor (remember those?) then I moved onto the 286, 386, 486 DX4 100, MMX, PII (333Mhz), PIII, P4 3.66Ghz HT(press hot), Athlon X2 4400, Athlon 7750BE, Phenom 934 to the FX-4100 I have today. It's been an emotional travel through past systems.

First computer I owned was i486DX in an old Packard Bell computer, don't hate was something my parents bought when I was like 10. First computer I built was a Intel P3 550Mhz.

My first computer had a Pentium 4 2.5Ghz, with 256MB of 133Mhz sd-ram, an oem motherboard and a 64MB onboard integrated graphics card.

Pentium 3 800MHz, 128MB 133MHz SDRAM, 20GB HDD, Intel 810 chipset MB, 14 inch Samsung monitor.

Well my first computer was a ZX Spectrum Plus. And it had mods too...I rewired it so I could connect it to a monitor and there was some kind of transistor on it that would get really hot, so I took it off the board, soldered some extention wires and put a heatsink on it.

At the risk of really showing my age, the first computing device that I owned was the vic 20. The first that I ever used however was a binary mainframe, where to load a program you had to insert a bunch of punch cards.

This is a tough one to answer for me but it depends on what you'd class as my first processor.

The first PC I had contained a K6-2 chip, not sure on the MHz but I think it was 500MHz.

The first chip that was actually mine was a Sempron 64 2700+

And the first one I bought was a Phenom II X4 955.

My favourite chip has to be an E5200 I have which can get over 5GHz easy peasy :) Have got Super Pi 1M benches @ 5.1GHz

My first pc/cpu was back in 2005 (was a nes/snes/playstation before :P) & was (God can't remember exactly but a 2005 athlon 64 (was about £180 if i remember correctly) God my memory! :P

the first one i had bought with my own money was an AMD K6-2-500
But if you would count Commodore 64/128, Amiga 500/1200, BBC 16, Vic 20 computers processors i have owned all of them too if that was the case technically the first CPU i had was a MOS Technology 6502 1.1mhz which is the beast in the Commodore Vic 20. a similar processor was also used in the Atari's.

My first computer was a Amiga 1000 back in the 80s it had a motorola 6800 clocked @8Mhz (if i remember right)
