Finally Won The Silicon Lottery :D

I've never won the silicon lottery so this is an awesome thing for me.

The last 780 Ti before I had to donate it to a family member could only do 1200 on the core and 3600 on the memory.

My Reference Asus 780 Ti that arrived this morning that I have been busy benching to death is rock solid at 1300/3900 :D

Is that the boost speed or the base speed and then boosting on top of that?

I have not really played with mine, but they are stable at +150 on the core and +300 on the memory without touching the voltages.

Don't run them oc'd though as I have no need to at the moment.

It looks like you might have a decent card there though.

Also why is it only running at 8x?

It's the base speed and then boosting on top and I have it in a lower PCI-E slot for looks mainly hence the x8, Haven't noticed any performance difference between running it at x8 or x16 though.

Nice overclock!

Thank you :)

I'm going to be modding the shroud in a couple of days, I'll post pics ^_^

Use GPUZ monitoring to tell you what the max is :)

and this is with the ref cooler? Nicely done dude :)

I haven't even tried OC'ing my cards yet, everything's changed since my 580's!

Indeedy, Max temps I've seen so far are 79'c.

Tomorrow when I get time I'm removing the metal shroud and changing the colour to a matt black but keeping the screws silver and then just need to wait for the custom backplate :)

Its should boost past your OC mate - depends what the tool is tbh

Indeedy, The bios I'm using disables boost 2.0 so the clock doesn't go down/throttle too much compared to the stock bios.

With this bios there's no middle point if that makes sense, It's either at 2d settings i.e 300mhz etc... or at max 3d clocks unlike the stock bios where it can range ingame or benchmarks.

are you gonna leave the logo green or sand it down?

Sanding it down, According to a few that have done it, It takes maybe 5 minutes to do it carefully and looks really clean afterwards :)

Ahhhhhhh well the GPUZ thing was to check the boost lol

Well...yeah....fine...blonde moment lol ^_^

In short the card either runs at 300-400 idle or 1300 in 3d which is quite nice, Made a profile for 1200 though just to knock off a few degrees :)
