Project: APASF ("A Post-Apocalyptic Steampunk Future") (Completed)

It was actually quite close, there was some expectacular work that month, then again there always is. I was surprised I won tbh as normally not everybody likes something as specific as this. Either way, while I was very happy about it, never again will I do something as complex as this, during the end it become more of a "chore" than something I enjoyed doing and frankly, I already have my job for that, for me moding is supposed to be fun.

That said, I´m glad I finished it and I can move on :)

Oh and sure, the more pictures the better. I think the biggest reason for so many more pictures than previous works is mostly for just the huge amount of details this project has.

That said, I did learn a LOT of stuff on this project and in time I will do another APASF, but this time knowing what works and what doesnt. A simple example would be, using plexy tubing (painted in copper) rather than actual copper tubing and plumbing fittings as they are an absolute nightmare. If you get the right size, the visual effect is exactly the same but it´s the difference of taking 1-2 days to do it instead of 1-2 months.

haha I remember the other day trying to view the newest post on page 1..

Scroll down, just about to get to the new post... page jumps back up to the loading pictures..

Repeat for about five minutes

i posted up on this before last year at another place its still very impressive and i like how it looks even more now tbh...

True, it is definitely a niche build.

for me moding is supposed to be fun.

Yeah I've noticed my new build log is already suffering somewhat from that problem as well

Cheers UkGouki,

I´m glad you guys like it, and as sad as it may sound, I´m just glad it´s finished and I can move on.

I´ve already started work on a small project and in a couple of months I´ll start on my next "big" project :)

I just hope I don´t find myself in a situation again where a project stops being fun :)

PS: Link to your log? :)
