Finally started my new build

Your build... It's practically the same as mine although I'm not getting a sound card. Maybe it was fate. Great minds think alike, you know!

Looks good man!
cheers mate

Looks really good, but I don't like the look of that 4 fan thing, I can't quite make out what it is for...?
Theres a few other things that don't make alot of sense but I'm not goona complain. Its your build
i got rid of that 4 fan idea... made no sense instead i´ve gone for three fans in the front. you can see it in one of the updates... what else doesnt make sense?

Looking good!;)
cheers mate

its all you need :)

Great work so far! It looks amazing!
cheers mate

Only just found this log, its lookin' great. The design you've done for the handle was so well executed, the three fans in the front are looking great as well.

If you've been saving for 2 years, you deserve it, perseverance and patience are qualities one rarely sees these days.:)

cheers mate... i really appreciate it

The handle setup looks ace through the panel gaps in the top panel, almost like it's not there :) Very good attention to detail mate!

i got bored on sunday so i decided to test fit some hardware
started with the board
img467u.jpg

after the board went in i fitted the memory
img468j.jpg

i think the memory suites the board

the gpu went in next
img470.jpg

then the soundcard
img471.jpg

after the soundcard i fitted the h100i... i got rid of the corsair thermal paste and put some noctua nh-h1 on the cpu
img472.jpg

and at last... all together
img473.jpg

i started connecting cables aswell
img474.jpg

some more
img475.jpg

the audio the usb´s and the front panel connectors are all hidden underneath the usb3 cable

the cables at the back

i´m still waiting for the ax 760i and the led strips to arrive till then there isnt much more to do...

more updates to come

I know that you're modding the case, not the hardware, but getting rid of yellow accents on the motherboard with white carbon fiber 3M Di-Noc (that Tom used for his false floor for example) would look nice. Anyway I'm really impressed by the build so far.

very good idea i´ll look into that. the green on the gpu should be white aswell... cheers for the input :)

Nice update, that hardware looks good in there. Getting rid of the yellow and green inside the build would be a nice touch. I am looking forward to more updates.

cheers mate... will see what i can do about the yellow and the green

looking realy good and about the yellow on the z77 Mpower i would defenedly change that. im also getting a z77 Mpower but my rig had a black/red collor sceme so im probbobly gonna re paint it red.

I'm not sure, because I never had that motherboard in my hands, but I've heard that you can take off that black&yellow pieces from heatsinks so painting is an option too.

You can get chrome dinoc, it would blend in with the other logos :p
if i get dinoc i think i´d go for white
