the lovely card itself
from a different angle
the ssd´s:
i already had one corsair force gt from my old rig... and when i saw what tom has done with them in the stryker i had to go and buy another one. thanks for your work tom it´s very inspiring...
my two lovelylittle darlings
the psu:
i bought a corsair ax750 but i will sell it and get the ax760i, if i cant sell it to a friend of mine i´ll put it in the for sale & wanted section its brand new and hasnt been opened yet
cooling:
just like the psu i will sell the h100 and get a h100i... it also hasnt been opened yet
the fans:
i went for 4 corsair sp 120 performence edition fans for the h100i, 4 corsair af 120 performence edition fans and 1 corsair af 140 fan for the case
i love their design
i´m still waiting for the h100i, the ax760i, the af120´s, the af 140 and some other bits and pieces so i started with modding the stryker... thanks tom for the roof mod guide for the trooper/stryker
i started with stripping down the case
pretty naked already
now its time to say good bye to the handle
the cables were looking really messy... a couple of cable ties later it looks a lot better
ssd dock and all the rest is gone
alot of stuff
just a few screws
now its time for some modding action
the lines... i decided to keep holes to screw in the 3rd fan
after cutting
after filing and sanding
with the fans installed
next thing the harddrive cages... i drilled a few holes so i can have fans in the front and the side. these fans will go and make room for the af 120´s two of the fans wont be very functional but it looks better with two fans on each side
i like it...
next thing is the handle... i want to keep the handle functional so i had to do two new plates for the handle
the new plates
new and old ones
now bend the handle
and the other side
all together
new plates testfitted
with handle
now get rid of the plastic underneath the mesh
after the cutting
after sanding
with the mesh back on
now the cut underneath the handle... another thanks to ttl
with the handle
and again
from above... havent painted the new handle plates yet
the whole roof
so far so good... havent thougt about how to fit the ssd´s yet. thats the next job. i havent got a name for the rig yet my surename is white maybe that could go into the name. hope you lot could can help me to find a name. please leave comments and thoughts
thanks for watching
