Does anyone had some experience with them?
I ordered some stuff from specialtech and now they use them.
It seems that they doesnt give you pretty much any notification when your order will come, and that sucks!
Well we will see how it goes.
If will be ok, I will stay with specialtech if not I will have change retailer for watercooling goodies.
But TBH I a bit worry:huh:
Thanks.

I've had some experience with them in the past, and they were fine. Things were delivered on time and in good (read: perfect) condition.

My last order form ST was delivered by FedX, It was free shipping as well so it was the within 48hrs service and they still delivered the next day :D

You should have gotten a tracking number to track your items online though.

Unfortunately, I do not know. I ordered something on the Wednesday and it came on the Thursday - I didn't even think to try and track it.

Yea I got the tracking number but, does it tell you, like for example on DPD that item will arrive in an hour or so??
Because you know I dont want to spend all they waiting for this:)

No, it just says something like

"your items have been loaded onto a van ready for delivery today"

But it doesn't give you a time, just whether it will be delivered today or not.

Lol, don't know, FedEX probably charges less that DPD did. All couriers should do the within 1 hour thing though, it would be a lot better if they did.

Umm, in my experience DPD has been the only company that has told me the exact time items will arrive, and the only retailer i've seen that use them is scan. I wouldnt change retailer because they dont tell you the EXACT time you're goodies are gonna come. I've never had a problem with any of the couriers any retailer uses, unless it's one like parcelforce when they try and deliver something when I'm not in and then insist they deliver it the next day, even though you wont be in the next day either. This has been very annoying when they've then said I have to go and pick it up from the depot which is like 20 miles away from where I live. Most of the time parcelforce now take it to the local post office though, so I'm quite fond of them now.

They should really provide a rough estimate. If it's not within 1 hour, they could maybe specify a time slot like AM between 8 - 1 or PM between 1 - 6.

Ok goodies arrive(but NOT all of them! Corsair cables send separate it the post, they write it on the invoice??WTF!)Why did you do this to me specialtech? So I have to wait with all the work that I have to do with my build till tomorrow.GREAT!

Unfortunately, Aria did that to me when I ordered my parts. Usually it's down to where the items are kept - my PSU was stored in a different warehouse. It's a killer, as it's always an integral part of your build which is missing :(

Again specialtech let me down!
They were missing my corsair cables yesterday, and on invoice I had the note that they were send separate in post for friday delivery. And today nothing arrived, and I phoned them and asked where the hell are my cables and they said that they sent them today so they should be with me "tomorrow" or monday. So yeah its so great that it gonna take them a week to complete my order! I place the order on monday!

I had the opposite problem when I ordered from them a few weeks ago.
I ordered on monday night (like 10pm) and added the order note, I need this delivered on friday as no one will be in the house on wednesday or thursday to receive it...

...surprise surprise, the sent on tuesday with next day delivery...

Then got a phone call from the courier ask what he wanted me to do which was very helpful. If it was a different company then they'd have just tried to delivery it the next day which of course they wouldnt have been able to. But still! Bit inconvenient and annoying when you tell them something very specific and they ignore it.

I've never had a delivery with Fedex, its usually City Link for Aria deliveries and DPD for Scan. DPD service is top notch, telling you what time your item will be delivered. Yesterday i received my ram from Scan in between 5-6pm as mentioned in a text i received in the morning so i knew not to be out the house at that time. Its really helpful and other couriers should do this too.
