FedEX

I don't know which courier service Amazon use, but I think they're great. You get a text from them on either the morning of or the night before your delivery, giving you a pretty damn precise window for delivery + the name of your courier for verification.
I think widespread adoption of such a thing is needed.

Well my mum works for the exam board AQA, and for their 24 hour or even same day deliveries, they use citysprint. And from them, we get a phone call as soon as they have the package giving a rough 2/3 hour time window, then another call when they're an hour or two away to give an exact time, and by exact time I mean like, within 5 minutes. Obviously we arent gunna be paying companies like ST for same day couriers or anything but it would be a nice thing to have.
They also have on their tracking service online, instead of just 'loaded onto van for delivery', they have real time mapping for the exact location of the van. This is what I'd love to see from all couriers

DPD are really good, newer had problem with them:)
With FedEX was ok but they dont give any notification like DPD, does City Link doesnt have 1hour notification?
Specialtech used to use before Interlink and they was as good as DPD. So I have no idea why specialtech had to cut cost and use cheap FedEX:(

amazon use yodel, and they're a bunch of morons who turn up 2 days late for a pick-up even though its been cancelled and gone via a different courier lol
